This is great resort to visit! We went in February and the weather was amazing but it was very windy every day we were there. The entire resort is relatively small compared to the other Sandals and Beaches but it worked. The party pool has great staff like Steven, Rudell, Joel, and many more. They all were real cool and real heavy handed on the drinks! (Yessir!) The island itself is a beautiful and the resort easily has my endorsement.
This is my second time back to Sandals Lasource in Grenada. We came last year and loved it so much, we decided to come back again. The Island is great and the people are wonderful. Normally I would have given 5 stars but I went for a massage on this trip as I normally would do. My foot bothered me after the massage it was sore and swollen and I had called the spa. They suggested I see the nurse. I was surprised and a bit annoyed that they never called the room and asked how I felt. As a professional, if I had caused pain to a client I would have been concerned for their well being. Otherwise the resort was great.
Excellent Resort, we have returned 2 years in a row and plan to a 3rd year. We have visited 7 Sandals resorts and this is our favorite. We visited Jan 7-13. We had a few minor issues the heat was not functioning in our rooms hot tub. Troy was checking chlorine levels and he gladly looked at our issue he also contacted the technician when he could not resolve the issue. He actually did fix the problem. And the following day when he was checking the systems he politely inquired about the hot tub. Troy did a wonderful job.
Diving the main dive boat was in for service and with so many Divers on this week Sandals rented a boat for us as the snorkel boat was not an adequate boat for our groups. I appreciate the diligent hard work of Adrian, Boota, Gerry and Charles on the Dive team. Gerry and Charles are excellent Dive Leaders and Gerry is extremely safe and a good job of diver skill. They handle my request to see the 3rd great wreck here and setup a special free group dive for those of us with Advanced Diver training. Thank You.
Lastly our trip was made all the better by our Butlers Neron, Brent and Marlon, We have had Neron 2 years in a row he is an excellent example of the professionalism and respect that his job entails.
Lovely resort with pretty good food. Lively swim up bar and very peaceful beach. All inclusive, adults only resort. Good service and friendly staff. Book your tours in advance and bring your mosquito repellent.
Amazing place. Not too busy. We had an fantastic and relaxing week. Everybody was friendly and they do a great job making you comfortable.
Our stay was absolutely a dream come true! Usually resorts pale to their professional photos online, however LaSource was everything the pictures led it to be and more! They are knowledgeable of food allergies and have amazing food, have wonderful service and are such genuinely friendly people!
I'm very disappointed in this place I'm sure if this was your first time being at an all inclusive you would think its wonderful me and my wife picked it because the travel agent talked it up but has never seen with her own eyes spend lots of money to be here to feel like some staff are inconvenienced by your presence we are in by level swim up suite with butler love it and our butlers but everything else is less than par. Room 3206 plus on top of everything you get charged 2 dollars everyday to give to the community and get guilted into..this place is a joke ill never come back to a sandals
One of the best vacation I've ever been on. Sandals redefines what a vacation should be. We went Scuba diving, relaxed on the beach, and it was all-inclusive, definitely a plus. The staff really went out of their way to make our experience fantastic from decorating our room to delivering a surprise cake one night.
My wife and I had an incredible honeymoon experience at this resort. The service and facilities were top notch. Steven and Davy at the bar were fantastic and represented the resort very well. The employees were all very friendly, and food was great for an all inclusive resort. It’s a beautiful island that provides a great backdrop for a romantic or relaxing getaway. Highly impressed overall.
Dirty hotel. Terrible customer service. Mediocre food. Your money is better spent elsewhere
Day 3 and very few complaints. Drink service to the bar is always super fast and consistent throughout the day, with daily special drinks. Food is pretty good at all the restaurants I've been at so far, with my only complaint being service but as a server from new York myself I'm sure I'm just critical, which is why that doesn't effect my star rating. Alcohol is pretty high quality for all inclusive, especially the rum selection.
Private beach, good food, super close to the airport. Staff go out of their way to ensure you are having a great time. Would highly recommend.
My husband & I spent a week here for our honeymoon!!! OMG Absolutely hands down the best trip & resort ever! We had the Butler suite & our butlers were right there for everything. Some how it was like they knew what we wanted before we even asked but they were more than that they actually became friends! The resort staff were all friendly & knowledgeable. Plenty of activities & events to participate in. The restaurant variety is excellent with delicious food! The beaches were beautifully with clear wasters! Excursion options were great! We are already planning our next trip back to celebrate an anniversary!!! We LOVED EVERYTHING about our trip!!!
Best resort I've ever been too. The butler takes care of everything. Anything your heart desires, anything you can think of that you want, but don't want to do yourself the butler can do. That includes unpacking and ironing, everything. I cannot rave enough about this place. You have not been on vacation. Till you have been to Sandals. Beach is superb, fantastic snorkelling. Food is second to none, even the room service. Rooms are new and modern and beds are very comfy. Climate here is perfect, not too hot, nice breeze. Staff is wonderful, cannot thank Leanna and Kerry enough (our butlers). There honestly was not a worry that we had while on vacation here, all the staff is helpful and happy to help in any way. Did I mention that I am still here? I've only been here for 2 days. Can't wait to see what other fantastic surprises we have in store.
This was our first Sandals experience and I think we chose well. The property is gorgeous as you walk around. While rather new, some of the finishings in the rooms show wear in such a way that it made me question cleanliness, but on further inspection, it was mostly just wear and tear (although on check in, there were a couple things in the room that were not cleaned well). We had a Romeo & Juliet Suite and enjoyed the private pool and hot tub more than we expected to. Food options were plentiful and mostly good, although breakfast was lacking and the room service options left a lot to be desired for us. They have gluten free options (Which I require and a reason I chose them) but they could be explained better and a few things could be tweaked to make it much better. We found the Japanese Steakhouse to be the most fun and tasty environment (Chef Aries was awesome), the Italian and Butch's steakhouse were also very good, but Spice's was bland and boring and we avoided it most of the time. The lunch pizza and hot dog items were nice, but we personally would have liked them available more often. We also wished the Pub would have been open for lunch, since we had dinner planned elsewhere and didn't get to try it. The drinks were plentiful and well done (We aren't big drinkers, but enjoyed all we did imbibe). Beach was lovely and accessible for swimming, although it is not super long and some areas are rocky. There were tons of pool choices (I presume only those afraid of the ocean or who really want a bar with their swimming would use a pool over the ocean). There were a lot of entertainment options, many included and some for "Extra" cost. The on property entertainment was just OK, tried to showcase local talent and our favorite was the steel drum band. We had a promo Catamaran Cruise included with our stay and found that worthless, were very glad we hadn't paid for it. The other "Extra" options seemed more "cruise ship" than I was willing to go for, since I like a more local experience. The resort is at one end of the island (near the airport) and you are secluded a bit - if you want to go to St. George's or anywhere else, you have to get a somewhat expensive taxi or tour (We booked a local service outside of Sandals for a private tour and were thrilled with it). Service was great overall (we had Butler service and they were great), although one restaurant had notoriously grumpy staff. My only true complaint was the organization of the departure process. They had about 12 vans worth of guests show up at the same time when they only had 3 vans to cycle. It would have been smarter to stagger the departure times and lessen the chaos. Overall, if you are a fan of inclusive resorts (and like to drink, since that is where you get your money's worth in my opinion), I think this is a very nice one, especially if you are looking for adult only and cozy.
We really could not have asked for a better honeymoon. The grounds are incredible! The landscaping and design of buildings and restaurants is amazing! Not to mention the staff. Everyone was so accommodating and friendly. Every time I passed a staff member I was greated with good morning or afternoon etc. We wanted to shout out to specific staff members and were shown loop messaging but I did no realize it had to be completed on the grounds of the resort. It identifies your location and you cannot do it if you are not physically at the resort. My only suggestion is to make it easily known how to give staff the props they deserve and also for excursions or off properly yours that you can sign up through Sandals make it more evident that it is acceptable and appropriate to tip in these instances. This seemed to be missing in some of our excursions and the third party excursions shouldn't suffer due to Sandals no tip policies. Anyway, the staff we wanted to let it be known were extra amazing are Kimony, Stephen, Ginger, and Joel. They were each really amazing in making sure we had an amazing time and very friendly and easy to talk to. Thank you all and Sandals for an amazing honeymoon!
An amazing experience. From the grounds to the staff to the free scuba diving. We took advantage of the Butler Service also. One of my top 5 vacations to date, Only resort I booked another 10 days before we left! Ifori & Marlon the Butlers are true professionals and my new friends.
I've been too many hotels in my lifetime and this is one of the best. It was like being on a cruise ship without the ship. Without exception everybody bent over backwards to make sure our stay was good. Our room called the butler Suite was clean and modern looking. The guests were more mature except for the occasional Honeymooners. Everything about the place was top shelf and we will come back for another vacation.
everything is great here except the fume and sounds of lawnmower and blower all day every day. sandals should implement battery operator equipment instead of 2 strokes gasoline. other then this i have no other complains everything is great
We got married here in January and everything surpassed our expectations. The staff and grounds were amazing! Everyone is extremely friendly and outgoing. The resort is very well laid out and easy to navigate. There's always someone available if you have questions. We never waited on seating at any restaurant or beach and always had a fresh drink and snacks.
The butler service is worth every penny! You get a cell phone when you arrive and is linked directly to your personal butler. They take care of everything, no matter where you are in the resort!
Overall, this is the best vacation I've ever had and the wedding was amazing! Do not hesitate if you are considering a vacation here!
