My son got hurt by sea urchin spine on his foot today and he was in a lot of pain so the hotel said go straight to this private hospital . They took him right away and Dr Amechi saw him and gave him pain Med iv but I wish he had immediately soaked foot in hot water and vinegar .He didn't do that and while trying to remove the spines half of them broke off and are still in his foot !!!! . The final shock was the bill of over $940 US dollars !!!! I have never heard of this price even in NY Emergency rooms !! They charged $180 .00 for nasal oxygen for 10 min !!! .
If they had told me the cost I would have taken him to the St George university hospital .
Please don't go there - it's a ripoff !!! Unless you are dying with a heart attack !!!
