Great place to get some beers and chill on the beach!
Beach chairs are for rent here, and water taxis. It's a beautiful spot on Paradise Beach and directly across is Sandy Island. We took the taxi to Saline Island where we swam with turtles, then to White Island to snorkel on the reefs. I highly recommend Off The Hook!
Carribean beach food and dining. Fried chicken and Lambie dishes were greatsetting was even better!
The owner is friendly, the staff are great, the drinks flow easy and the view is spectacular
Off the hook is Paradise in paradise beach. Curtis the owner is a wonderful Caribbean beach bar/restaurant host. He can do more then you can possibility need to help you have an amazing time from Kayaks, water taxis to cocktails and awesome food.
The owner of Off the Hook, Curtis, has a monopoly on a water taxi from the beach so he charges a very excessive price. I visited with 5 friends and he was late taking us on the taxi and was very late picking us up, well after dark. His attitude was such that he didn't apologize or show concern for our hospitality. When I approached him afterward with our concerns (gentle inquiry, initiating conversation), he immediately grew very accusatory, aggressive, and manipulative, to the point where I felt unsafe during the interaction. This place has a mostly good reputation and I was shocked that my 5 friends and I were treated this way by the owner himself. He may have a friendly demeanor most of the time, but toward us he acted like a smug, immature, entitled bully.
Lovely Bar and wonderful beach setting
Havnt been yet, but can't wait to go. Looks perfect, would be even better with Sophisticated Lady in the bay. Soon soon soon, buying boat in a few months, be there just after.
Off the hook manages to get it right by offering a perfect combination of shade, chairs, benches, loungers combined with a great bar, excellent food and insulated drink sleeves.
Great vibes and atmosphere. Fantastic water taxi service to the famous Sandy Island.
Personalized blended drinks, giant conch, fresh lobster literally straight from the sea, and private trips to a sandy island. Looking north you sea the islands where parts of the Pirates of the Caribbean movies were filmed. This place is otherworldly. Feels like you've traveled through time when you spend a day on the beach at this genuine tropical paradise.
