There is a great little pub here with wonderful staff and great food. Great view of the Caribbean as well.

This hotel has a beautiful beach front view with modern clean rooms. Pleasant staff and has a 2 minute walk to the amazing town of Hillsborough.

TERRIBLE TERRIBLE TERRIBLEI was so disappointed and embarrassed that my wedding guests had to stay in that hotel. The receptionist didn't really know what customer service was about when we went to check if the rooming list was in order! I had to have a conversation whilst she was in the back office because she couldn't be bothered to come to the front desk. It took 2.5 hours for my guests to check in, They didn't have running water for 2 days. It was like Fawlty Towers! My guests left Carriacou disappointed! Not a great way to promote a sweet small Island.

This Hotel is fantastic . Not to mention you could probably walk it from the Carriacou Airport alonside the calm sea ; it only takes about 25mins. The staff are very helpful.

Front desk manager, restsurant staff, housekeeping and cooks are all exceptionally friendly, and make your stay pleasant and bright everyday. The restaurant menu is a little over priced and closes at 9pm (although that is the latest in town). I found there were many better daytime options available. Let's not forget the VIEW, which is just steps away

The check in and service was quick and easy. The rooms were simple, clean, and modern. The location and view could not be better. The price was reasonable.You will not regret staying at the Mermaid.

Nice, new and clean. Restaurant is a plus, as there are only a few places to eat nearby. So close to the water that you can hear the waves crashing at night.
