Grenada Bluewater Sailing

  We have just successfully completed the coastal yachtmaster practical after a week of challenging, but fabulous sailing in the waters around Grenada with Alex our RYA instructor.
  The winds were 20+ knots all week with some days near 30 apparent.
  Chao Lay the B461 performed very well with Alex proving to be an excellent instructor helping keep the vessel under control at all times.
  For myself, this proved to be the best sailing experience so far. We have learned so much and given us the confidence to take on greater sailing adventures which is really what we were seeking from the program.
  Alex is also a great cook, skilled and knowledgeable about his craft.
  We would highly recommend this course for those seeking a unique but highly rewarding challenge.

  A great place to learn to sail, RYA training from Competent Crew to Ocean Yachtmaster, very friendly team helping to build and improve sailing skills.

  Excellent training! I improved my sailing skills far more than I thought possible, in one memorable week. Also, gracious hospitality, great food and a whole lot of fun in the spectacularly beautiful Island of Grenada. Highly recommended RYA training center!

  We did the RYA competent crew course in August 2016 with Grenada Bluewater Sailing. The owner of the school - Alex - was the instructor on a Beneteau 461. It was a family vacation for us with myself, my wife and my 13 year son attending the course.
  
  Short story - we had an absolute blast.
  
  This was our intro into sailing and spent 7 days on the boat covering about 160nm. Each night was spent anchored in a different spot and Grenada and the surrounding islands are gorgeous. We were nervous about being stuck on a sailboat for 7 days with someone we did not know but had an amazing time. Alex was a great instructor and made us feel right at home. Would definitely recommend and we will be back in 2017 for round 2!
