Only visited the bar/cafe at the top of the hill.
Lovely staff, always time to chat and advise where we might catch a glimpse of the monkeys.
Only had drinks here, they are reasonably priced.
Car park very easily accessible as is bar/ cafe.

Lovely place with a nice little visitors center, miles of trails, some souvenir shops, and a bar. The lake is very peaceful and the pagodas nearby are a lovely way to rest and appreciate your surroundings. Keep an eye out and you might be lucky enough to spot a Mona monkey. Don't expect super manicured trails and you won't be disappointed.

We visited here on our honeymoon! It was gorgeous! We jumped into the waterfall and enjoyed our time looking at all the beautiful greenery and nutmeg trees!

It was one of the highlights of my recent trip to Grenada, being a nature loving person. I enjoyed the entire road trip, but having reached the destination I was thrilled by the walk to the lake. Lush and luxuriant vegetation on either side of the walk was calming and peaceful. I could spend my entire day there, just not alone!

We visited during rain, which made it more difficult to get the views from higher ground. Very beautiful regardless. It was a bit crowded. The monkeys came out and were very friendly. The rain stopped and we enjoyed the lake and rest of the forest.

The Grand Etang National Park is a quite an interesting location in Grenada, I especially enjoyed the Crater Lake and that is where I met the
Grenadian Monkey (Mona Monkey I believe). The park itself consists of buildings and some shops. I also noticed a well kept and labeled garden on the grounds.

The Gazebo and other oriental looking structures at the lake shore were quite cultural and noteworthy as well. The national Park area is quite large and the central area I mentioned only take up a small portion of the vast expanse. I learned that there are hiking tours and nature walks in the mountainous vicinity and picnics and many other events possible at the lake side or in the garden. Parking is not a problem and although I did not personally witness a crowd, I can see that they are set up for multiple touring parties and drive seems all the more worthwhile.

A trip to The Grand Etang National Park makes the visit to Grenada more Interesting and fulfilling on many levels.

Fabulous trip to this beautiful nature reserve. Wild monkeys roam freely and are tame enough to approach and stroke them.

This place is awesome. You feel so close to nature. Got to see Mona monkeys and fed them bananas.

Just amazing views from the 2 view points. The trek through a bit of a slushy path, but worth it. Must visit, even if you are visiting Grenada for a day. Bus No 6 from the town goes to this place. Costs 2USD for outsiders

Should carry some bread for the fishes and bananas for the monkeys.

The visitor centre provides useful information about flora and fauna of Grenada

The only problem we had was that we didn't find any bus on our way back. It was 1:00pm on Saturday and the sun was blazing. All buses were coming full. We had to walk almost 3 miles before we got a bus.

This place has free WiFi really shouldn't get excited about it but if on a cruise free WiFi can be rare. Nice views of the volcanic lake, restrooms, some local craft shops & a lot of tourists.

Beautiful, our guide had so much to say, and there are hundreds of fish right below the surface. We even saw a monkey. Highly recommended!

There is a small fee to have access to the park, then you can hire a guide to take you on a hike. We hired a guide to take us to the Seven Sisters Falls. Well worth it. It was a bit of work because of the multiple elevation changes. 2 recommendations: wear proper footwear for a hike, and wear either high socks or long pants. You don't want to learn about the razor-like grass the hard way.

This place is pretty unique for Grenada, and considering it's size and vast amount of different options for where to go, and what to do, you could probably spend a week here doing all the different hikes and seeing the monkeys. Now this place isn't actually full of tourists everywhere like most "cool" places in Grenada, although that might be due to the weather, it rains a lot here. (I'd check the weather beforehand) The monkeys are really cool although I wouldn't count on them being there when you arrive, I'm pretty sure I just got lucky. However, they are awesome if you do luckily see them, they will actually come right up to you and grab fruit right out of your hand and eat it in front of you. (I'd bring a few mangos just in case) It isn't actually prohibited to feed them either, the park actually encourages it, there's a sign near the front that says: Help the monkeys by feeding them fruit. The hikes are pretty fun, some could be very challenging, some might be easy, I guess it depends on what you want to do. If it was raining recently before you show up the trails will probably be muddy, so I's bring some boots if you have them. If you're looking for a harder hike, I'd recommend going up the mountain or hiking around the lake, (shoreline trail) as those are the harder ones to do. If you're looking for something easier I'd hike to the seven sisters falls, as it's only a thirty minute hike and it's not to hard. I'd also recommend if you like fish to go down to the lake, it's really fun just to walk out onto the dock and feed them bread and start a big feeding frenzy. (Bigger chunks pf bread get better fish and a bigger crowd) As well as feeding the monkeys, feeding the fish is also not prohibited, so don't worry. When I went there was quite a bit of people at the lake, so that might be something to think about. Other than the fish though, there isn't anything else really to do at the lake, they don't let you fish or swim in it, so I wouldn't bother staying there too long. Overall, if you're looking for a good fun, or challenging hike and you like seeing the Grenada wildlife, I'd definitely recommend this place for you.

Although we didnt get to spend a lot of time here what we did see was very nice. The monkeys are pretty used to being around people as they were begging for food.

Nice fell in the middle of the jungles and the montains. I think that making some walking there should be nice.
