Homecharge is a UK-based company specialising in electric vehicle (EV) charging point installations for homes, workplaces, and commercial properties. Founded in 2012, Homecharge has built a reputation for reliability and expertise over more than a decade, meeting the rising demand for EV infrastructure with tailored, customer-focused solutions. The company supports EV owners, businesses, and public entities in adopting sustainable transport by offering efficient and compliant charging options. For homeowners, Homecharge simplifies installing EV charging points. The process starts with a site visit to evaluate the property’s electrical setup, followed by a detailed quote. Once accepted, their qualified technicians install the charger, typically within one to two weeks. Homecharge emphasizes the necessity of dedicated charging for Battery Electric Vehicles (BEVs) and Plug-in Hybrid Electric Vehicles (PHEVs), and helps customers access Office for Zero Emission Vehicles (OZEV) grants to lower costs, enhancing affordability. For businesses and workplaces, Homecharge provides scalable solutions, from single units to larger setups. As an OZEV-registered installer, they enable access to grants like the Workplace Charging Scheme (£350 per charge point) and up to £2,500 for schools. Installations vary based on existing infrastructure, but Homecharge ensures safety and regulatory compliance. They highlight benefits like improved sustainability credentials, employee perks, and customer appeal, supporting the UK’s net-zero goals. The website outlines Homecharge’s full-service approach, covering consultation, installation, and ongoing support. Their chargers are compatible with most EVs, including Teslas, offering flexibility. Installations are designed for minimal disruption, executed by experienced engineers to high standards. Testimonials on the site praise their reliability, transparent pricing, and efficiency, bolstering their credibility.
