Perfectly located for a pit-stop from the bustling Market, Borough is the original Wright Brothers restaurant and where their growing wholesale business began.
The restaurant is intimate and informal with seating mostly arranged around a long oyster bar and two shared high-tables which offer views across the open kitchen. In Summer guests can sit outside around tall wooden barrels and soak up the vibrant atmosphere.
Head chef Rob Malyon's speciality is great ingredients cooked simply. The menu includes classics such as oysters, fruits de mer, moules marinières, as well as traditional dishes like their beef, Guinness and oyster pie. There is a daily-changing specials board ensuring the freshest seafood and seasonal produce.
The wine list pairs perfectly with the food on offer and there is a wide selection of cocktails, as well as an excellent range of bottled London craft beers.
Fresh in. What a beauty, Var Salmon!
Over the years our team have shucked 1000s of oysters, cracked hundreds of crabs and plated up plenty of seafood platters. Watch them in action as you dine on our marble oyster bar in Spitalfields tonight. 👌
