Great supermarket, excellent quality. Maybe a little more expensive than average, but worth it. Try their new sushi!
Waitrose , Exeter is great. You can buy a lovely piece of Hereford beef for the Sunday roast. However, above all that, my wife became ill whilst I was doing the shopping, and Rose sat outside at a table and when I came back, I found the staff had given her some cool mineral water. Then Rose was sick and one of the check out girls came out and cleaned it up, and cleaned Rose up too! That was beyond a call of duty. Thank you Waitrose for being so kind.
One of the best shops to buy quality things from. You pay a bit more than some shops but you get what you pay for, They have reductions and sales so you can still save money if you go for their own brand items, for instance. The place is just a much higher quality than other shops. I've learned to enjoy food again by shopping here and thinking how to use the special items like the drink supplements, etc.
The best food to buy... the staff are generally kind and helpful. However, some of the staff are not that good in communications and treatmens.. as non English guy, I've found Waitrose staff so amazing since they first opened in Exeter but recently, some of the staff, not many, appears to be cold and not welling to help much... it just happens mainly with young men staff.
Simply the best Waitrose I ever visited. Fully stocked shelves, great selection of merchandise, incredibly friendly and helpful staff who are available on the shop floor to help with any queries, good cafe, with outdoor seating, good loos and reasonably fast at the tills. Altogether no complaints whatsoever...
We were able to find a seat and read the paper with our coffee.
Good medium sized Waitrose. I've used the click and collect here for John Lewis items a few times. All have been fine but you do have to wait a while sometimes just to speak to someone at the desk and then they have to go all the way to thw back of the store. So I wouldn't use that service if you're in a rush!
Good supermarket but it's really busy most of the time. The "self scan" checkouts actually require you to scan items as you go around rather than just checking out yourself which is a bit confusing. But the staff are great and helpful.
Great location, excellent quality of food, fantastic service even though it's always busy. My favourite supermarket!
This is an excellent, modern, Waitrose branch, which even on Sundays is well stocked and also well staffed.
A spacious well lit store it offers a full range of high quality groceries as well as a limited range of homewares.
The cafe is very good, the staff there enthusiastic, and there is outside seating.
The car park is well ordered with plenty of provision for the disabled and young families with push chairs. The site is flat and generally friendly for those with disabilities.
