The stunningly located town of Keswick, nestled on the shores of Derwentwater, has a wide array of shops and galleries. Eating out in Keswick is a joy with an exciting choice of restaurants, pubs or cafes. Explore the five major lakes, picturesque valleys and unspoilt villages with the mountains of Skiddaw, Helvellyn and Scafell all within easy reach.

This is a wonderful area in which to try new outdoor activities or to extend your existing skills. Walkers and climbers are spoiled for choice. From the high summits to forest trails and lakeside paths, there are walking routes suitable for all.

Within such a compact area as the North Lakes it is very easy to explore the neighbouring valleys and secluded places. To the east, for example, you can enjoy the lakeside paths beside Thirlmere. To the west you can explore the delights of Whinlatter mountain forest.

  Keswick's geological origins go all the way back to ❄️the Ice Age❄️ but that doesn't mean it's dated - there are an abundance of activities for people of all ages to enjoy in Keswick during all four seasons!

Casting has been confirmed for the UK Premiere of psychological thriller, The Other Place, in which a brilliant neurologist marketing a new drug for dementia is suddenly overwhelmed by a series of bizarre events.

  Keswick Brewery are busy preparing for building work to start on 2 extensions. The 1st of the new buildings will provide space for the brewery to expand whilst the 2nd will provide a larger bar, beer shop and increase the visitor tour experience. www.visitkeswick.com/…/n…/exciting-times-for-keswick-brewery
