  What a difference people make? This post office used to be so poorly run with very long lines and, at least on two occassions, such poor customer service I started going elsewhere. Now it is under new management what a transformation! A quick moving queue and when you get to the front of it the kind of customer service that makes you feel, for the time of your transaction, the focus of attention. It is such a complex job to do well particularly in a community where their customers and their needs are so diverse. So friendly, effecient AND professional!

  Used to be my local post office and the staff were always lovely. They did what they could considering there was only one person serving at times, and customers could be challenging.

  I just want to commend the staff at this post office. I have been visiting regularly for years and have never once had poor service. The girls are cheerful, professional and can’t do enough to help you. I’ve witnessed them regularly deal with difficult customers and they are calm, helpful and deal with matters really well. I have seen them put up with abuse and I admire the way they deal with challenging customers. They deserve a pay rise!!

  The post office part is fine, the staff are what you've come to expect from UK post office workers (ranging from indifferent to openly hostile depending on the day). Whereas this was also once a shop, it's now a harrowing walk through an empty room to a dimly lit counter at the back. That said it's conveniently located and it does still offer a more or less full compliment of post office services.

  Convenient with a friendly staff, but the environment in the post office is less than stellar.
  
  Exposed wires, rotting convenience store counters, moulded and torn up boxes filled with trash stuffed in the corners make for an interesting pseudo post apocalyptic backdrop as you're getting your mail.
