July saw the start of the school holidays, late evening walks in the gardens and two awards from Horticulture Week. Here's our collection of our favourite visitors photos from the month, which are a little Fairy inspired.

A wonderful selection of images collected by one of our trainee gardeners. "The foxglove like flower is Digitalis ferruginea (known as rusty foxglove) from the Italian garden. The purple lollipop like flowers in the more close up shot are Echinops sphaerocephalus teamed with Allium 'Summer Drummer' and Stipa gigantea from the Floral Labyrinth".

Sorry folks, in the gardens - only the Italian Garden and Tearoom are currently open due to high winds. The recent dry weather means that our trees are in stress and are vulnerable. Shopping Village is open as usual. Thank you.

We can hardly believe that tomorrow marks a year since the new tenants moved into the extended Trentham Shopping Village. Here's some key facts about the extension: - 18 new units joined, including local companies Terraces Junior - Trentham, RAWR Café Bar & Juicery / Trentham, Milly & Roses, A Major Music and The Potters Barn. - This phase was part of a £7 million investment in the shopping village. - The extension covers an area of 21,600 sq ft. - It brought the number of timber lodges in the shopping village up to 77!
