  Strange toilets though that require advanced climbing skills to get in the stalls, but I guess this /is/ called the Treehouse...

  Stopped here for dinner during a recent stay at the Savoy Hotel. What an amazing dinner. So. friggin. good. Ordered the nachos as a starter, and I'm from Texas - like I eat nachos on the regular - but these were some of the best nachos I've put in my mouth. We ordered the small for two people and it was a perfect size.
  
  Then I had the fish and chips for my dinner - again - so. friggin. good. The batter was light and crisp, the fish was flaky and seasoned just right (compared to the fish and chips at the Savoy - I'd pick Treehouse hands down), and the fries - well those were amazing as well.
  
  The fries seemed like they were probably twice fried, because the insides were cooked just right and the outside was delightfully crisp. Hubs had the special house burger which he loved as well, and we had ice cream for desert. Overall a completely delightful meal. I'd definitely recommend this restaurant if you're stopping through town.
  
  My only complaint was that they seemed a bit short staffed because it took 30+ mins from getting the bill until someone came back to pay it, but I still had a drink so it wasn't the worst thing. If you're American though - don't expect the quick service you'd get in a restaurant in the USA.

  Not surprised... eexcellent reviews followed by stunning place, amazing service, great food and cool atmosphere. I would definitely return of ever back in Ayr..

  Food was great, menu had good choice.
  Service was friendly and quick.
  
  Only negative is that some of the tables are quite small and crammed together. I imagine this would only be an issue for tables for two.

  Over priced. Restrictive menu. Used to have a really diverse and tasty menu but has seriously gone down hill. Staff are always friendly which is always a plus.

  Booked to celebrate my sisters 60th birthday. Staying in Ayr for the weekend and this restaurant was recommended by a friend. We were not disappointed the food was excellent and the staff were lovely and very helpful would certainly eat here again thanks.

  French toast with bacon and maple syrup was gorgeous. My wife had light breakfast with gluten free toast (which wasn't on the menu)
