  We had the lamb fillet on bed of leeks. It was delicious, perfectly cooked, and presented. Service was good, attentive and friendly. Nice interior. Had a wonderful evening. Highly recommended.

  Absolutely lovely place to visit, main courses and desserts were beautiful. Very friendly staff. If ever down this area again will Definately pop in for food

  Not bad, ordered a double burger which didn't have much taste and it was a little dry, but I couldn't complain. The chips were stunning, the service was good and I'm happy with what I had. My wife and brother in law had nice juicy burgers so maybe I was just unlucky.

  Has a great meal here...two adults & two children...children eat for £1 between 5-6pm Sun-Thurs, which we didn't know until looking at the menu, so that was a bonus.
  Sirloin steak (15.95) was cooked lovely as was the salmon (13.95) & both meals were very well presented...as they say...you eat with your eyes!!!. The children had mini burgers, which looked homemade & were lovely. We all polished it off!!!
  A nice find & would return if in this area again.

  Twice I have visited and twice I have had delicious meals!!! Friendly staff and comfortable atmosphere. Although the first time we visited the drinks order was wrong, twice. Felt like the waitress wasn't listening at one point. But overall a very pleasant visit.

  This is a brilliant little place - totally unpretentious - and serving consistently good food at very reasonable prices. This is demonstrated by the fact that it is always busy throughout the Winter with locals, unlike some places which feed only on the Summer visitor trade. It is a great place to meet friends and is child friendly; not the place for a romantic dinner as it is busy, can be quite noisy and has great atmosphere. Highly recommended.

  Was recommended by a friend who went here two years ago. Had the 16oz rump steak. It was cut unevenly and was over cooked where it was cut thinner. It was also tough and full of gristle. Very little effort was put into the salad. The dressings we great and the peppercorn and Brandy sauce for the steak was lovely. The service was very good however.
