Nice and very social staff. The food came quickly. I'm pleased. The reason to four stars and not five was that the chicken was a bit too dry.

Great place for lunch or dinner. Steve does a great job at keeping the draught selections interesting at a more than reasonable price (£2.15 for a premium pint??).
    Quick, friendly service!
Food is great. Haggis is a MUST try!
    Sadly no live music/entertainment.
Definitely worth a visit if you're in the Musselburgh area!!

Food is good quality. Staff are lovely. Dark decor but nice not to dark. Very busy but as food is served quick theres not a huge wait. Good prices on drink and food. Have daily menus for steak day, fish day, mexican day and so on. Decent deals

Nice place, I know the manager David, he's one of a the best at wetherspoons. Very cheap, real ales £2.15.
All ages here from 18-80 years old. Food is cheap and done to a good standard. You get the usual locals,as you do everywhere. Bus stops across the road,so it's quite handy. My new watering hole.
So come here, if your up to Edinburgh for a wee break, get a bus from the town. The most popular buses from the centre are the 44 (takes 20-25 mins) The other bus is the 26,which takes a wee bit longer.
One thing to note, it gets very busy for lunch between 12.45 and 2pm.my tip if you want a bite to eat, come in midday or after 2pm.

As a former cinema the place isn't blessed with a lot of natural light. Despite high ceilings and loads of fixtures there's a weird 'nicotine stain' vibe which pulls the mood down. Good, solid Wetherspoon place, exactly as you expect for price.

Waiters were excellent and food was great couldn't fault it.
However after standing at bar for over 10 minutes for coffees I asked the guy at bar how he decides who is next as he is now serving people before me and others. His answer, "if you say anymore you won't get served at all!" I asked if I could speak to a supervisor or manager. He answered, "I'm in charge here I am the manager!" I said ok that's me snookered then and sat down. I believe his name is Andrew Berg.
Spoilt the whole day won't be back if he's in charge.

Another same old Wetherspoons..... well maybe. Nice enough though and the food and service was good for the money. Nice ale and beer choice as always.

Pretty big standard weather spoons. Seems to have taken over musselburgh pub choice though! Always the place to go before a night out or a great dinner with the family! Decent prices for decent food!

A slightly poorer than average Wetherspoons.

The food can be slightly hit or miss, steaks in particular depend on whether the chef on duty is vaguely competent (don't hold your breath for them not to be overdone).

Drinks are pretty good and reasonably priced. They've recently had to cut down on their offering of real ales and craft beers due to low turnover so a smaller selection but well done.

Sometimes could do with more staff, but they're friendly.
