I had great experience dealing with Mr Mark Stafford at Northampton branch. This was my second car from this branch both times Mr Mark done everything he could to make sure I get best customer experience and everything is according to my expectations. I live in London and went to Northampton to buy this car but it was well worth it. Just writing this review to say thanks to Mark Stafford for great customer service. If you need a car just go and see Mark he will take care of everything.

I recently had my Toyota Prius serviced by Steven Eagle who handled the whole thing very efficiently throughout, from initially booking my car in to rerunning it after the service. The engineer also called me after his inspection and discussed any action needed and highlighted any precautionary items which may warrant attention in due course. The whole operation was smooth, and professional and conducted in a very amicable and cheery way throughout. Delighted with the service I've received.

I had a phone call to book my RAV4 in for service well ahead of time and arranged for it to be collected and delivered the same day. Everything went to plan and my car was returned mid afternoon, all done, valeted and nice and clean. Having the service plan made it easy with only the MOT to pay for. Thank you Toyota.

Buyer beware. If you see this garage advertising online make sure you print off the advert before you show a serous interest or you may find the price is increased considerably when you arrive to test itand it will have been removed from website so it's difficult to prove. My family have fallen foul of this twice in just over a month. I fell for it because I didn't print the price off when I first saw it. Fortunately my son and granddaughter printed theirs off so didn't buy the car. It's a real shame, it's soured the whole experience for me

I have bought two used cars from this dealerships in as many years. The experience has been superb. Duncan Cooper is a fantastic person to deal with: knowledgeable, straightforward and committed to outstanding customer service. Buying a used car is always more worrying because you never quite know what you're buying even with all the checks undertaken before. However Duncan and the dealership management bring utter peace of mind. In both of my experience unknown issues emerged with the cars soon after purchase and on both occasions they have sorted it out and covered the cost of repairs. You couldn't ask for anything better: people who stand by their commitment to building a solid relationship with their customers. I wouldn't buy a car from anyone else now.

Fantastic friendly staff, would happily recommend this place to anyone looking for a Lexus or Toyota to buy! They made us feel welcome and we walked out with the keys to a stunning Lexus!

We had bought a second hand Toyota from a private non Toyota dealer, and had some issues and lost faith with them. So I asked my local Steven Eagell Toyota to help us check the car was safe. Carl explained all the findings, in fine detail, answering all my question and the mechanic had carried out a full check producing a report (almost like a mini MOT). They did this all free of charge! I will definitely be returning back for my services and future MOT. All staff were friendly and very informative. Many thanks.

very disappointing experience - awful customer journey

On 16th of February 2015 I have visited the Steven Eagell Toyota Car dealer in Northampton as I was interested in a potential purchase of a Toyota Aygo Fire. Following on from a test drive that day I have expressed my interest in purchasing the car. As a result I have made a part payment and agreed to pay the outstanding balance upon collection of the car. I have been asked to provide my details and a vehicle order form was completed as the online system did not appear to be working (this included my current mobile number). Following from completion of the form an agreement was made with the Sales Rep that the car collection will occur on a Saturday morning at 9am which would fall on the 21st of February.

Upon arrival at Toyota on the 21st February, my partner and I were welcomed by the Sales Rep who asked us to have a seat and told us that the car is not ready for collection! Eventually we were given a courtesy car and we were told that someone will ring us to let us know when our car is ready for collection.

On the 24th of February we received a call from the Saler Rep to let us know that car is now available for collection, this was arranged for the 25th of February.

When I got home my partner and I noticed that we have only been given a car manual which was placed in the car and the service book which was promised to be placed in the car, was not present. At this point my partner had sent an email Sales Rep to mention the missing invoice, service book and remind him about the missing spare key. We have not received a response to our email.

On the 28th of February my partner and I have visited Toyota with the hope to speak to Sales Rep and obtain the missing items, however we were advised that he was likely to be busy for a while with another client. I have left a message with his colleague, however have not received a follow up phone call or email. I have then sent the Sales Rep another email on the 1st of March….asking for the same items....

HOWEVER I can confirm that after:

    · 17 emails (this includes messages to the staff at Northampton site Toyota, customer relations, social media and online complaints team!)
    · Approximately 7 hours of my time spent on this
    · 3 phone calls
    · 2 months’ worth of constant following up

Plus a lot of stress and anxiety.

I have now got the service book with the latest service stamped, the second key which was missing originally (with 3 versions of where it has gone). The original invoice still not provided as this was not possible to be printed when we last visited on the 10th of April. The different member of staff promised to send this via email but this has never happened.

I am happy with the car and it's great little runner, very fuel efficent and fits to any parking space however even though I have now received the majority of the items that were promised (excluding the original invoice) I will remain to have the ‘bitter taste’ so to speak in respect of any dealings with Toyota Northampton due to the service and customer care or lack of it that I have experienced.

UPDATE NO1: My 20K service in November 2015 has not picked up split rubber on front wiper and My Toyota View video from the service was never issued/emailed to me

Avoid when possible. Sales people are too pushy, say one thing and then put a different thing in the documents. They confused my name on V5C form and took half a year to send me my gap/scratch insurance documents.

Duncan is the best sales rep ever. He is the reason I travel all the way from London to Northampton even for something small. Very reliable and helpful. Other staff are also helpful.

Bought a used Ford from here and was treated as if I was buying a new Toyota. All promises were delivered and the car was presented in pristine condition with a 12 month Toyota Warranty. Staff, especially Darren, were knowledgeable polite and patient. Completely pressure-free relaxed environment. Would not hesitate to use them again, they took all the uncertainty away from buying a used car.
