  Went for an eye test and everyone was very pleasant and helpful. I bought 2 pairs of glasses and Collected them 1 week later. After trying them on I wasn’t to happy because I couldn’t read my phone etc at a comfortable distance. I was told I’d get used to them but after trying for 3 days I was getting a headache and even felt sick. I returned to the shop and the assistant was ok until I explained the reason for my return. She then said I needed to start reading newspapers, phone etc a lot closer to my eyes(practically touching my nose) I explained I can’t do that but she having none of it in fact I found her quite rude. So I said I was leaving the shop never to return and she said that’s fine I’ll close your account if you want. I agreed with this. I have logged a complaint with Specsavers online. I now have been left out of pocket. The person who dealt with me should not be dealing with the public in my opinion.

  Such great service in the Kirkby branch.
  Very professional Opticians that really know their stuff.
  Really friendly helpful staff that go above & beyond to help in anyway they can.
  Very good value for money on glasses.
  If I am truely honest, I wouldn't go anywhere else.

  Love the staff here. Really lovely bunch and always make my partner and I feel very welcome. Great selection of glasses. Thank you for everything.

  I want to thank the staff at Kirkby for helping me with a potentially serious eye problem.

  Service is genearlly good. However, it is the up selling I do not like. Always stating that for your prescription they recomend the premiun product. I was also automatically put down for a more expensive eye exam but they do not tell you there is a cheaper version. I suspect that if I was not paying I would get a standard test. Informed my daughter that she also need special contact lenses, however I am not conviced. I do not feel like I 100% trust what they advise.
