We have recently opened Samphire after refurbishing the premises focusing our style around contemporary English/European cuisine and are already receiving very good reviews.

Samphire is just a short walk from the heart of Christchurch town.

Wine Bar

Most people know that Samphire restaurant is a great place to eat, but did you know that we now also have a relaxing Wine Bar where you can relax with friends, meet with colleagues or just have a little me-time and read the paper whilst you grab a bite.


Our Wine bar is the perfect place for pre-dinner drinks, or to unwind with a coffee and the newspaper.
The bar is open from 6pm to 11pm, Tuesday to Saturday.


Our chefs have put together a great selection of light bites and sharing platters, which will ensure that even if you haven’t got the time to eat in our restaurant, you can still enjoy our relaxed atmosphere whilst eating freshly prepared, tasty food.

Restaurant

In the day & evening we offer a menu based on the best local seasonal produce and meats, with fresh fish and shellfish landed by local fishing boats. We start with freshly baked breads through to our own deserts, all created fresh on the premises each day.
