Had a really unpleasant experience while paying the bill. Took 15 minutes to explain the staff that 4+4+3+2+1=14. Don’t mind the math class particularly, but there isn’t any need to be rude to people who have paid their bill and still are patient enough for the staff to figure it out.

Great addition to Beestons night life and a nice cafe type feel in the day. Good food albeit a limited menu and excellent range if beers. Recommended but limited menu and usually slow table service hence the 4 star's.

Brunch food was delicious. But we were trying to be seated as a group of 8 and we spoke to four separate servers who approached us clearly having not communicated to one another, and gave us different messages that led to a lot of confusion and also being reseated after we had already ordered. Otherwise it was a good experience.

Lovely little place, went in the evening whilst waiting to collect our son from a Scouts field trip. Candlelight and very good coffee from 200F. Food (at others' tables) looked very good also.

Great place with a lovely atmosphere. Obviously many regulars which always paints a good picture. Good and service was excellent. I am a visitor to the area but would make it number one if I returned.

Fully recommend the All Day Breakfast , cooked to perfection and a good pot of tea that just kept giving.

Great place to visit most any time of day, from delicious cooked breakfasts to wine and a light meal in the evening. It is popular and can be crowded, but it's worth checking out.

Good food, ciabattas are good as was the coffee. Busy and buzzy, decent value. Staff pleasant when you get their attention but they don't actively look to see if any one wants their attention, very much "eyes straight ahead". That aside, everything else is spot on. Will be back.

Pleasant place for a daytime drink and a bit of food. Let's face it there's not much competition in Beeston. Salad was a little overdressed but otherwise food was ok and a nice selection of wines. Staff were friendly enough. Food does tend to take a long time to arrive.

Good atmosphere and have always found the service to be friendly and accommodating. Good selection of breakfast options, especially liking the fact you can get some all day. Steak nights on Thursdays give a beautiful cut of steak and I recommend the sweet potato fries.

Pleasant atmosphere, tasty food, good selection of craft beers and ales. Service was a bit slow but we did arrive during a busy period. All in all very good, will be returning.

Nice food and service. Some things are a bit expensive for what they are, but don't let that put you off. Definitely worth a try.

What a wonderful place to eat. The staff are very pleasant. Clean and tidy.
My wife and I, who are middle aged (don't tell my wife) enjoy the atmosphere immensely . We took our daughter, currently studying at Uni but home for 'dossing' (I mean study week), enjoyed her lunch experience.
Food portions are more than adequate and great value. I would recommend the Belgian hot chocolate (with a 'kick' if you dare).

    Much nicer than the chains...
