  Stayed two nights and found it to be excellent value for money. The rooms are exceptionally modern and very clean. The bathroom and shower awesome. The bar and restaurant provide a great menu and again exceptional service. This is a professional managed establishment. Well done guys.

  UPDATE: Had another lovely meal here today (2nd Oct 2017). Great service, food was outstanding.
  
  I am reviewing the restaurant which has a high level of decor, especially the lovely slate wall, large windows onto the garden. The food here is cooked fresh so please be patient it is worth it. Food is very good as is the friendly service. One of the few places to do both decaf coffee and tea.

  had a 7 year old birthday party in thr function room with Party Central. fab party, room was a good size, staff serving in the bar were lovely. would go to the ravelston again.

  Staff were friendly, knowledgeable, and went out of their way to accommodate us. The decor is fresh and cosy, and the food was brilliant.

  I've stayed in 5* hotels that aren't as good s this hotel! A real gem. If I'd stayed in this hotel at the beginning of my Scotland trip I don't think I would have moved any further. Food /restaurant is brilliant.

  Friendly service, fantastic prices on Wednesdays and a pleasant, unhurried dining experience. Great range of food, made on the premises. All in all, really enjoyed our visit.

  Attended a birthday party here. The party itself was great but the venue bar was terrible. Slow service, one of the bar staff didn't know any drinks beyond the basics and the beer was flat and expensive.

  Great freshly cooked food in nice surroundings with excellent service. Pensioner menu excellent but limited. If you decide on the fish in the main menu be very very hungry because it is xxxL in size.

  Amazing, modern, friendly, clean and staff very polite and attentive. We stayed during new year and bottle of bubbly, chocolates and sweets and drink left for son. Fantastic clean accommodation and I am very fussy!!! Would definitely recommend and visit again if travelling to Scotland. Thank you Ravelston House.

  We had got a Groupon voucher for us and two friends.Nice ambience. Service was a little slow but the Sunday roast was enjoyed by all of us. The deserts were most enjoyable too.

  We were at Ravelston for the afternoon tea, which was cheap (10 GBP pp) and tasty. Staff was friendly. The crowd was not the youngest, but it was a family friendly atmosphere.
