Description
We took over an ancient orchard and got planning permission to put no more than 16 wooden camping pods on the site. We have spent a year clearing the site of 40 years of unwanted scrub, shrub, ivy and nettles in order to rejuvenate the old apple trees and provide what we think is a lovely rural area to put our camping pods. We have moved literally tons of rocks and fallen trees.
All our buildings are designed and built by us so there has been alot of hard work involved, much more than we anticipated. We wanted a family business as we all have different talents so thought it would be good to unite them all in a common cause which will hopefully benefit each of us, but also the community we live in.
Our Aim-
We aim to expand to other local villages/towns in the area to provide a network of small sites suitable for walkers and cyclists who may enjoy moving from one site to another, but that is for the future, right now we want to provide a friendly site where you feel welcome and happy to share in our vision of a small rural site, but on the doorstep of all the amenities you could wish for, and on the crossroads of interesting places to visit, either locally or slightly further afield.

We are very excited to announce the opening of our accessible toilet and shower room. Accessible for guests using a wheelchair, for families with small children and for families with a baby. 🚿 👶🏽 👨👩👧👦 ♿️🚻🚼 • Inside is an accessible shower, toilet and sink. There is also a baby change, hair dryer and hand towel dispenser. The shower has: a seat, grab rails, an overhead shower, a handheld shower head and privacy curtains. The toilet also has both grab rails. •... Both the shower and the toilet fully comply with ‘Doc M’ regulations, with all the correct grab rails and accessibility equipment. • We must advise that their is no assistance alarm fitted in the room. This is because of not being able to offer 24 hour attention in the event of the alarm being set off, due to particular staff working hours. During staff hours (usually 9-5) regular checks will be carried out.
