Took my car to Wylam garage as I had a problem whilst visiting the area and received amazing service from all staff including Emma, the mechanics and George who all went far and beyond to get my car in, diagnosed, fixed up and gleaming! Excellent service and reliable garage. Thank you all :)
I had a problem with occasional partial deflation on one of my tyres. The service team replaced the inner valve at my request. The problem persisted. The garage then found a tiny side wall puncture, so small it was not apparent. Thank you to the service team for quickly solving this frustrating problem.
Went with my son to have a look at a new motobility car for him. My son who is autistic felt so comfortable talking to Nigel who is so friendly, explained all the differences with the models of the cars clearly. That meant my son could understand them, making it easier for him to choose which car model suited his needs best. I would highly recommend anyone looking for a motobility car or even just a new car to have a look here you won't be disappointed.
here we are again, 3 years later and we fancied a change of car. We first asked what the Renault Spaceclass was worth after 3 years of faultless driving, we were astonished as to its current value. The thoughts of changing and buying new became a firm decision.
The spaceclass sold we ordered a new Qasquai Techna. 3 months later we now have the car on our drive. Perfect in every way
What more can I say, great sales, great service, nothing was too much trouble. 5 star in every way possible.
Just before Christmas our daughter Elizabeth was driving home from work when she was hit by a car from behind. It was her pride and joy, purchased from Wylam Garage some 18 months before. The driver of the car who hit her drove off. To make matters worse she became the victim of an insurance scam which cost her money she didn't have. After Christmas the car was written off and Elizabeth was without a car. I contacted Sean at Wylam Garage to take advice about the GAP insurance which Elizabeth had taken-out to protect her in this event. After a brief explanation I was left feeling reassured that Elizabeth would be back on the road soon. Following my call Sean got In touch with Elizabeth and explained how the GAP insurance worked and how it would all work out to help her to purchase another car. When her motor insurance company agreed a settlement Sean offered Elizabeth a choice of three cars which she could afford. On choosing her car Sean sorted out the paperwork and agreed a delivery date. On the due date Elizabeth took delivery of her car..a new shape Micra with very low mileage. The thing is Elizabeth lives in Manchester. Where do you get service like that?
I have been buying cars from Wylam Garage for years because not only are the cars reliable but the after sales service is second to none. This story is further testimony to this fact. Buy a car from Wylam Garage and you get peace of mind, security and great care. Incidentally..after all this Sean went to work in the People's Kitchen.
Disgraceful customer service; never been so insulted.
Despite having been a loyal customer of Wylam Garage for 3 years, I was shocked when we were recently accused by the director of attempting to defraud him. The unusually large £1500 bill for a service and new turbo had triggered our bank's fraud detection and blocked payment, which, it's fair to say, was already stressing us out a bit. While frantically trying to resolve this, we were then accused by said director of trying to get away without paying, of refusing to pay for some work, and of earlier causing "aggro" by having to move child car seats into a courtesy car.
The truth of it is that the work we refused to pay for was work we'd repeatedly, explicitly asked them NOT to undertake (and they'd agreed to that), but which they did anyway. In fact, they'd doubled it up by doing both sides of the car. It was their mistake, so why *should* we pay?
And the so-called "aggro" re the car seats was when I had to leave work early, get my daughter out of nursery and rush to Hexham before the garage closed to help my wife move the kids' car seats to a courtesy car, as the garage had been unable to install them safely. (We hadn't anticipated having to leave our car with them for multiple days, but they said it wasn't safe to drive away.) While I can't blame the garage -- fitting car seats isn't their usual work -- if anyone was inconvenienced, it was me. There was certainly no "aggro" for them; they merely had to wait for me to turn up (which I did before they closed).
And as for trying to drive off without paying, that's just rude and insulting. My wife simply needed to get to the nearby bank to make sure we could pay and couldn't exactly leave our baby daughter at the garage while doing so. We were loyal customers who'd always paid our bills immediately. In the circumstances, a little sympathy and understanding would've been nice, rather than groundless accusations that just increased the stress levels and left my wife in tears.
As I said, we WERE loyal customers. Not any more, though. I wouldn't recommend Wylam Garage to anyone.
Great service! Thank you!
I was really pleased with the price and quality service offered by this garage, staff were friendly yet efficient. Highly recommended.
Great service will defo go back
