    Burnfoot Community School PLEASE SHARE P2/3 Numeracy learning with Childsmile.

    P2/3 in collaboration with Childsmile will be selling some awesome oral health care products tomorrow 3.00 - 3.30pm and Friday 8.30 - 9.00am outside P2/3 classroom.... They will be giving out flyers in the playground in the morning. They have also been modelling with some of the products. #lifeskills #childsmile #Burnfootlovesnumeracy

    Our Childsmile Team will be at Trinity Primary School on the 19th and 20th of June to apply Fluoride Varnish to consented children's teeth. Fluoride Varnish can be applied four times a year, twice in school/nursery and twice at your own Dentist :-)

    Earlier this week our Support Worker Carol Douglass attended Tweedbank Community Picnic and Open Day. Carol attended along with other professionals and was there giving Oral Health Advice and selling Oral health sundries 😁

    Lights, camera, action. Lots of smiles this week for National Smile Month from the Childsmile Team who enjoyed their time on the stage at Eyemouth Primary School. Alas it wasn't Childsmile the Musical, they were applying Fluoride Varnish to 358 children's teeth :-) :-) :-)

    Our Childsmile team will be at Eyemouth Primary School on Tuesday 28th May till Thursday 30th May to apply Fluoride Varnish to consented children's teeth. Fluoride Varnish can be applied four times a year twice at your own Dentist and twice at Nursery/School 😁😁😁 Remember to : GET BRUSHING GET REGISTERED GET SMILING πŸ˜„πŸ˜„πŸ˜„

    Our Support Worker Amanda Scott will be doing drop in disclosing sessions for the children at Burnfoot PS. The children of P5 and P5/6 are invited to come in during their lunch time on Monday 27th May and get some expert advice on keeping their teeth healthy and also to use a disclosing tablet to see areas of their teeth that they might be missing during brushing. The P6/7 and P7 classes are invited to do the same on Tuesday 28th May. So Remember to : GET BRUSHING GET REGISTERED GET SMILING 😁😁😁

    Our Childsmile Team will be at Chirnside Primary School Wednesday 22nd May and Thursday 23rd May. Fluoride Varnish is yellow in colour and has a fruity taste and smell.

    National Smile Month is the largest and longest running campaign to promote good oral health. Between the 13th May and 13th June 2019. Nhs borders oral health team will once again be sharing positive messages and engaging others to develope and maintain a healthy mouth. So remember to : GET BRUSHING ( At least twice a day with a Fluoride toothpaste containing at least 1450 ppm) GET REGISTERED ( With a local Dentist) GET SMILING 😁😁😁

    Great start to National Smile Month with the children at Highway Nursery in Eyemouth. Our support worker Shirley spent the morning teaching the children how to keep their teeth healthy and preparing them for their Fluoride Varnish Application tomorrow.
