  Came here for a wedding recently. The hotel and the grounds are amazing. Only downside is the rooms are in desperate need of refurbishment, but they are doing their best with what they have - overpriced for the current standard though. Cannot pay with card at the bar - they make you put it all on your room tab.

  We had a lovely evening here, wonderful food and the service was very professional. The views from the restaurant are fantastic.All in all a great experience which we would love to do again.

  This hotel is ok if you are into old buildings it looks lovely on the outside but inside the smell isn't very inviting. It is in serious need of updating in terms of amenities. The shower was the worst shower I've ever had it literally dribbled at you. We stayed in the superior room with a sea view, the view was amazing. The only problem was if you want a lie in you'll be disappointed because they had their delivery of beer at 8am right below our window. The doors of the room need a soft close introduced to them as other guests had a habit of slamming their doors at all hours. The room itself needs new carpet and wallpaper, the wallpaper was ripped and had stains on it and the telephone on the bedside table was yellow where it was so old. Staff need to be a bit more informative as me and my partner came back just after 22:00 after a day out and found the front door locked and only got into the building because one of the guests was coming outside to walk their dogs. I don't think I'd stay here again unfortunately even though from the outside it is a beautiful hotel but needs a few tweaks inside.

  Grand old beautiful building set in picture perfect surroundings, right overlooking Morecambe Bay on the front. Staff are friendly and helpful and give this hotel a nice cosy welcoming feel. We had room number 8 which is apparently the best, and it was lovely and extremely comfortable. Breakfast was plentiful & delicious. Would easily recommend this place to others for an overnight stay, or function or otherwise.

  Popped in to get a feel for the hotel without booking an appointment as we get married in Sept 2017. Amazed it was still as perfect and I was treated the same way as when we came to book. Thank you guys and we look forward to sharing my beautiful special day with you all.

  Always fantastic. The staff are amazing, always offering a personal service. Food is still as good as it ever was and we'll definitely be back.

  This hotel is full of character and charm fantastic food very relaxing some great walk and cycling routes
  Also has a small indoor pool and dog friendly

  I recently attended the Netherwood Hotel for a sixth form ball with my year group. Despite some expensive drinks, I found the place inviting and well-facilitated. The staff were very kind and tolerant of our "merriness". We had a three course meal which was exquisite, along with a glass of wine of our choice. The quality of the refreshments was excellent. I would recommend this hotel without any hesitation!
