This week’s blog post comes to us from Euan McLeod, a Mental Health Staff Nurse at Midpark Hospital, here in Dumfries and Galloway. Euan examines the therapeutic relationships that exist between patients and the nurses who care for them, and considers how legislation both affects and enables this unique dynamic. An interesting read that will have many reflecting on their roles as advocates, and how to most effectively interact with one another in a manner that leaves both patients and caregivers satisfied.
