Description
Jolly Babies (birth to approximately 15 mths/confident walkers) The start of a musical journey. It is astonishing how much fun we can have in half an hour! We will wave and clap, sing Music with Mummy (family friendly sessions)
MUSIC with MUMMY is a structured programme of weekly classes for children aged three and under. Its main aim is to teach basic aspects of music to young children, while having fun. Each half term the children are introduced to a different learning concept through a new themeand dance. Simple percussion becomes a favourite, as will the bouncing songs and bubbles. A wonderful opportunity to bond with your baby, make new friends and have lots of fun.
Music with Mummy (Approximately 15 mths walking to 3-4 years) The fun continues as the children progress into the next age group. Each term there will be a new theme, such as colour, transport, spring, eggs. Musical objectives such as pitch and tempo, are gently introduced through percussion. Lots of fun songs, games and bubbles.
Three Four Time - As the name suggests the class is for 3-4 year olds. This is the first step in independent learning as the children stay with the teacher for 40 minutes, having fun and working on a theme. For the last 5 minutes families are invited to come in to listen to what has been taught in the session and to familiarise themselves with any new words that they can support their child in the home environment. At the end of term the families are invited in for the final session to see their child in a 'mini performance' showing off their skills that they have been taught in the last few weeks.

Our Teddy Bears Picnic is tomorrow, so if you are stuck for something to do please come along, you will be very welcome.
If it rains we will be in the room opposite the cafe and if it is sunny we will be opposite in the enclosed area.

I ❤ my intergenerational classes and the nursing homes I work with.
Music is powerful, it ignites emotions an example of this is a resident with Parkinson's Disease who couldn't communicate but mouthed every word of a song I played, tears were in her eyes so I gently held her hand and sang with her and she smiled. Wherever she was in her mind she was happy.
We have so many beautiful moments like this every week and the children do make the residents smile.
Come join us, our sessions are fun, welcoming and full of memories.

This week Music with Mummy is very busy with our special summer sessions continuing at Tennyson Wharf (Burton Waters) tomorrow morning.
Friday morning we continue at Hartsholme Country Park with a Teddy Bears Regatta.
At the weekend we will celebrating with Oliver and his friends at his 1st birthday party.
Finally Sunday Music with Mummy will be at Hartsholme Country Park Family Fun Day.
Please let me know if you would like to book a space.
Please note that sadly due to recent news at RAF Scampton the taster session planned for Thursday 9 August has been cancelled.

It has been such an emotional week at Music with Mummy Lincoln. Thank you for all my lovely gifts and cards I will treasure them.
We said goodbye and good luck to lots of children and their families who are going back to work or moving away.
Especially to 4 gorgeous children in my.Three Four Time group with 2 who have been with me since I started in 2015 who are starting BIG school I'm September.
I am going to miss everyone so dearly, and feel honoured to be able to keep in touch.
