I would definitely stay away and if I could give 0 stars I would.
I had went to the Academy to get a new bridge fitted after my old one came lose after twenty years+. However after a couple of weeks my dentist Elise Gammie fitted two new post after five minutes. Not long after that I started to get a lot of pain. So I when back to the Academy and told them the problem. So the Elise Gammie the dentist took a X-ray without saying she could not see or give me any explanation what was wrong she said that I would need to go to the Hospital. Anyway cutting a long story short I found out that she breached the tooth. In other words the Academy Elise Gammie the dentist put the post in at a angle and it went through my tooth right into into my jaw bone. The Hospital did try to save the tooth but in the end the damage was done and I lost my front tooth and I'm now left with a plate. It has knocked all my confidence and self- esteem. I can't wear the plate because it make me Gag. And I'm now left with missing teeth. So Academy was so unprofessional with the and a lack of care! Maybe it was because I was on the NHS. I just wonder if it would be different if it privately paid. But only they will know.
My daughter Keira is petrified of going to dentist. Our dentist callum McNeill is absolutely brilliant with her. She was in a lot of pain today and he looked after her along with his dental nurse whose name I don't know. Receptionist Alison is outstanding x
