Description

We are Scottish road traffic lawyers who specialise in defending clients facing charges for motoring offences. We have a successful track record in contesting cases, limiting penalties and in extreme circumstances avoiding custodial sentences.

Losing your driving licence is a daunting prospect and can result in serious impact on your life, from losing your job to disrupting your family life. And a drink driving conviction has particular restrictions and costs for your return to driving - and your personal activities. Whatever the reason you’re facing the loss of your driving licence, we work within the law to help you keep your licence and stay on the road.

Hope nobody thinks this is a good idea but just shows you how stupid some people can be.

Please bear this in mind if you feel the need to share anything revealing the identity of the person accused after recent horrific events in Rothesay.

Don't think we'll be trying this defence any time soon 😂

Can't wait to see how this is going to work. Without much thought I can think of streets where if the cars did not have two wheels on the pavement no other cars would be able to pass. I know there are going to be exemptions but how will you know if the street is exempt?

Speaks for itself, although many don't seem to be aware of it. Please remember that driving in the middle or.outside lane and not returning left to a clear lane can attract a fixed penalty for careless driving, that means 3 points and £100 fine.

Once again posts are having to be deleted because of foul and abusive language. Please remember that this page belongs to a solicitor’s firm and posts containing such language will be deleted. If you cannot comment without resorting to profanity then please do not comment.

Let's wait and see if they introduce this. Seems a bit strange that the proposal relates to low speed limit areas where the impact of speeding causes potentially more fatalities than elsewhere.

Yet another example of what can happen because of English Courts disqualifying in the absence of the accused. Would never have happened in a Scottish court.
