I purchased a brand new car from John Wilkins Car's almost 3 years ago, since then I drive each year from London to Cheltenham just to service the car, the excellent service and hospitality from the staff I receive you really cannot ask for more, I can honestly recommend John Wilkins Cars without hesitation.
Had a Legacy in for a service ready for MOT. Car was in perfect working order before dropping in (Used as a daily commuter and the previous day had seen it to Forest of dean and back no problem) and when delivered back, stank of clutch, with the biting point lost and told it would need a new clutch (£1800). I do not expect to drop a perfectly working car off to then get a bill for £325 and a knackered clutch which is now going to cost around £1800 to replace. Will not be recommending this place at all to anyone nor returning here.
Despite buying a nightmare of a car (second hand) I have to say the garage did numerous repairs in an attempt to put it right, before refunding the full purchase price and taking the car back. Whilst the car itself was nothing but hassle from start to finish, I cant fault the way in which they tried to rectify it. I would use John Wilkins Cars again, based on their Customer Service. I am sure that car was just a bad egg, so to speak.
Really the best service I've ever received from a car dealership. My Swift is a delight, and the staff are very helpful & freindly & above all don't rip you off for repair & maintainance.
I thought I'd never say this about having an MOT on my car, but this was a very pleasant experience - I can highly recommended John Wilkins Cars Service Team.
They also gave me some very honest advice about what I should maintain on my car before it goes wrong...I suppose prevention is better than cure. Thanks for a great service and I will be back next year.
