  Nice venue, even better after recent refurbishment. Very good service and good coffee. Lemon slice was a bit disappointing.

  Beautiful gardens even in the rain and the cafe was amazing, staff are extremely friendly and the food is out of this world, the burgers are outstanding - you do have to wait 5-10 minutes on your food as its cooked fresh but the quality is well worth the wait. Would highly recommend a visit if even just for a tea/coffe and a brilliant selection of cakes.

  Popular café stop for cyclists. Very welcoming and unfazed by large groups arriving. Pleasant staff. Food good value. Given many groups of cyclists arrived perhaps it would be worth fitting some bike parking? That would stop us tying up to picnic benches, etc!
