  Saturday Lunch from the fixed price menu.
  1 pint of Shandy, 2 glasses of prosecco. we both had starters and mains
  Total Bill was £51.00.
  How anyone can call this restaurant expensive beggars belief.
  As always first class, everything cooked by the chefs.
  Fantastic value , wonderful food, friendly service.

  Whilst the food was amazing, I don't think the service and quality merit approx. £60/pp price tag. Great but had equal/better quality and service locally a lot cheaper. Waited a long time with empty glass waiting for another drink.

  The starters were lovely but the lunch menu was quite restricted and my daughters and I opted for the lamb gigot. Mine was particularly dried up but the other two, whilst over cooked were edible. I ended up in a full on argument with 3 different staff who were all aggressively defensive. Worst Sunday lunch experience my family have ever endured.

  Cafe Tabou is a fantastic culinary slice of heaven served up with a covering of delightful starters, mains and deserts accompanied with a great choice of succulent wines to suit most palets. Its a real gem in Perths crown.

  Beautiful food skillfully cooked. Tomato soup to die for, followed by beef shin in a creamed horseradish sauce that fell apart in the mouth. The turbot was wonderful, and the whole meal was excellent value for money. Will definitely return!

  Not only do my wife & I love this place, it's become very difficult to go anywhere else in Perth for fear of deciding, "Well it's nice, but it's not as good as Cafe Tabou would have been...". The staff, the service, atmosphere, the wine and above all the food, are all superb. We would both recommend the moules mariniere to start any meal, with their fabulous simple fresh crusty bread and butter, my mouth is watering just typing this.... just go there, try it for yourself and you will be converted. One final thing - the cost per head is remarkably affordable so you're looking at top quality dining at an extremely mid range price bracket!

  The food is so tasty at Cafe Tabou. Every course of our dinner was amazing. The service was relaxed and friendly, but at the same time, the staff were expert in their knowledge of food and wine. A lovely restaurant and a memorable meal.
