  Fine and friendly little cafe on the whitesands Dumfries. The owner is a real worthy . Most of the patrons are regulars , some good banter !

  Disgraceful staff. Walked in and was ignored. Had a look around for a table, of which there were two, asked the lady if it was possible to take a table. She ignited me again. I asked her the third time if she was going to ignore me to which she turned her back and walked away. I'll be sure to recommend anyone steer clear of this place if they're anyway busy as it's clear they can't cope.

  Mr and Mrs Potts run a great wee cafe. They will look after you with good home made food and drink. Right next to Devorgilla Bridge - ancient monument - recommended.

  An often overlooked but long established and dependable Dumfries cafe.
  
  Limited menu but it's all fresh and good and where else can you get a fresh cup of coffee and a decent home-baked slice of cake, tart or biscuit for under £3?
  
  The all-day breakfast is best value for money in town and includes a cup of tea.
