Fantastic, huge feeling space with a great mix of open grassland and easily accessible woodland with various paths snaking throughout. Well structured dedicated play grounds, one for toddlers and another for older kids. The only let down from my perspective is the cafe, quite overpriced for an uninspired selection of food.

wonderful open space with woodland walks and numerous paths and trails to follow, great for children and dogs to explore and enjoy. The old Blaise estate has a museum and the castle itself is a tower in the woods, A folly. lots of free parking, public facilities, a snack bar and extensive childrens playground. It will take somebody a long time to explore it all.

Plenty of woodlands, open spaces and trails to explore. Good car parking, reasonable toilet facilities and a cafe make this an ideal place for fresh air and exercise. There's a massive play area for those with (grand)children needing to burn off energy. Gets pretty busy at weekends and during school holidays.

Enormous park with lots to see and do. Good for walking and cycling with a variety of trails, some well maintained and suitable for wheelchairs and pushchairs and some that are just muddy tracks. The north east end of the estate has a large open field (good for football or cricket), children’s play area, cafe and car park.

Amazing place. You can easily spend the whole day here with the kids. Lovely play area catering for all ages. Cafe. Green space for picnics and ball games. Woodland walk, castle, caves and stream... we didn't have time for the museum so will have to go back!

Beautiful estate! There is a large play area for children of all ages, vast open spaces for picnics, dog walking etc. There are also numerous paths through woodland perfect for walking, which are mostly pram friendly. A toilet (free!) with baby changing facilities and a café are present immediately next to the main car park (which is also free!). The only negatives were that I was unable to find a pram friendly route up to the castle and the signage was poor once in the woodland.

Fantastic playgrounds for both small and big kids. Toilets and cafe on site. Free parking available but car park does get full at weekends... limited parking on the road. This is great for picnics for large groups and good for a walk. Pushchair accessible... But parts are hilly!

Fantastic estate, with ample room for a variety of activates. There is both toilet and refreshment facility's with no charge on the toilet. A quality playground for children and many great walks to have.
Just a note though there are a few things they ask you not to do, which are cycling and football, but if your away from any populous I'm sure it won't be an issue, additionally you can't enter the castle it's self (except a very few select days of the year I believe).

This is on my doorstep! It has everything for everyone. Walkers, cyclists, children, picnics. Beautiful woodland plus huge green space. Plenty parking. And it's free.

Lovely park land covered in walking, jogging and cycling trails. Perfect place to walk dogs, picnic or take kids for the play area! Lovely woodland. It'll take you forever to cover every path. I've been loads and I'm always finding new trails!
