Great food, good portion size, but the service needs some proper training or adult supervision. After 40 minutes waiting to get our starters a waitress came to tell us that the oven was broken (in the meantime they served everyone else in the restaurant), 5 minutes after that they brought us the starters alongside with the mains. They didn't offer us any complimentary drinks or snacks during the waiting, and also got the bill wrong overcharging us for an extra dish of noodles and a beer.
Waited 30m to be seated but it was worth it. 😍 I love how crispy the rice gets in a stone bowl. Hot until the very last bite and the kimchi mayo is 😙
The only real bibimbap restaurant in London. It's cheap and great quality. There is usually a wait but they manage to seat people fast and get the food to you even faster. Don't expect to stay for hours after finishing eating as there is a sense of eat and leave.
My friends and I just had dinner here. I don’t know how authentic it is but I will say that the food was good. Portions were ample and most of the menu is below £10. The service was ok and the food was served about 15-20min after we placed our order. We are definitely coming back.
The food is tasty. The drinks are overpriced but authentic. The main issue is the cleanliness, or lack thereof.
My wife tried to use the bathroom and said that it made her feel sick. As if it hadn't been cleaned in days.
Later, I went to use the male restroom, only to be met with equal horror.
There was dried excrement all over the seat and back of the toilet, and toilet roll everywhere.
If they don't clean the toilets more than once per week, I dread to think what the kitchen looks like!
The price has been creeping up, but consistently good food served quickly.
Good for and staff. Well located and price. Great for selection
Tasty authentic Bibimbap with a small selection of other dishes at reasonable a price.
Both the meat and vegetarian options are great (my favourite is between the raw beef and the dolsot- always with raw egg! As it gets cooked by the hot bowl!).
Staff are quick and helpful.
Food is served quite quickly and you can easily come eat alone or with a group, though booking is advisable. Tables can be very cosy.
Being one of their first customers I think I'm still on their wall twice! {^_^}
Affordable yet delicious Korean food. Their bibimibap is really good. A few random Korean beers in bottles - not particularly nice, but classic East Asian style beer and novel. Lots of great options food vegetarians and meat eaters. The Kimchi is particularly nice.
Its been my favourite go-to restaurant for years now. Not because its flashy, not because its 'On trend' but because its brilliantly tasty food that feels makes you feel great. The prices are low enough that it does get a bit too full of students and Tourists - but hey i guess thats what its there for. Lovely place - don't ever change
