  There’s a whole world of designer paints out there... I have studied it hard and come up with a collection of paints which has every desirable colour covered. Atticus is supplying paint by Sanderson, Zoffany and Designers Guild. These ranges have been tastefully curated, tried and tested by Britain’s top interior design houses, which means that you are sure to be happy with the room when it is finished.   Geometrics for your walls. And for a more restful feel, choose a geometric with curves, and a dash of shimmer for extra light and luxe. I love this one. It comes in six colour ways and the pattern book is available now at Atticus.

  Our local Historic Letterpress Printing Company, Robert Smail's of Innerleithen, was the obvious choice for the Atticus stationary. Beautiful, shining, old machinery, the smell of ink and oil, the nostalgia of it... I just loved going there and watching my cards flipping off the letterpress one by one. And that was after they had been foil stamped, rose gold on imperial blue. I am so happy with the results...

  Spring Summer 2018 Trends One of the hottest interior themes at the moment is botanical prints. The colour yellow, velvet textures and leafy accessories are appearing in all the new collections. It’s no wonder I was drawn to these pussy-willows on my way past my favourite flower shop this morning. With their strong yellow velvety buds, I couldn’t resist a bunch. The wispy ferns were a must too. The last photo shows a selection from the new Designers Guild collection. Available to view now at Atticus.

  Dear Friends Introducing my new business... Atticus Interior Design. My twelve year career break to have kids, bring them up and pack them off to school has finally come to an end. I have spent the past few years dreaming of it, and the past few months planning it... the re-establishment of my interior design business. "Lynsay M Interiors" is now "Atticus Interior Design".
