Typical NISSAN UK - Awful people to do business with. Customer service (Especially for MOTABILITY) seems to be a dirty word with these idiot dealers of today. Checkout the reviews on ANY NIssan dealer and Nissan UK=AWFUL! I contacted them on an emergency issue on a new (2017) qashqai, which by design comes with inherent faults. There have been battery failures/and or alternator failures going back since 2012 at least. Nissan dont seem to have a clue, and try their hardest to ensure its a customer issue and so the customer pays. Its nonsense. RAC said its an alternator issue, open diode...simple. Not to Nissan, who think the best solution is to ignore warranty claims and they will go away. AMES of Thetford replied a day later to my request for help, having completely ignored the message content, and my subsequent reply. No idea where these plonkers get their money from, but they will never see mine again. They are all fine until you hand over your hard earned cash. Then the problems start as they turn their backs on you over anything and everything. Seems the customer is there to serve them rather then t'other way round. - PS: FORD are even worse, if this were possible so keep away. Check out ALL review sites before handing over your hard earned cash to ANY main dealer today. NISSAN have also just been done for rigging vehicle inspection checks, which means they never did them properly, putting us in danger. Mine came with bent isofix fixings and twisted seatbelt fixings in the back. BBC NEWS 21/10/17 Nissan chief executive Hiroto Saikawa bows at a news conference announcing the recall
Nissan shares fell 2% on Friday after the firm suspended domestic production for two weeks over concerns with its inspection procedures.

The firm will stop production at its six Japanese plants to ensure they comply with safety regulations.

Earlier this month Nissan recalled 1.2m cars after uncertified inspectors conducted checks on domestic models.

Japan's Transport Minister, Keiichi Ishii, said it was unclear how long the misconduct had been going on.

His comments were in response to a report by national broadcaster NHK, which said the practice had been going on for 20 years.

Nissan has declined to directly confirm or deny the NHK report.

Friendly and helpful and sending the video footage of the car checkup was a nice touch.

Excellent customer service. The staff are there to help but are far from pushy. Tea and coffee are available plus toilets and a TV if you chose to wait while your car is serviced.
