Alina: The White Lady of Oystermouth is a local history book, using the life of Alina de Breos (1291-1331) to tell of the events surrounding her which led to the toppling of Edward II from the throne of England.
The success of this book led to Broken Reed: The Lords of Gower and King John, about how King John's brutal treatment of William III de Breos and his family, was the spark that lit the fire of Magna Carta, published September 2013.
