  Located upstairs in a tower block so then entrance was off putting however the atmosphere once inside is rather pleasant and nicely decorated

  Al PortI is SIMPLY fantastic , first class warm welcome, the food is very well presented, and tasty. The whole visit was great. If we could give it 6 out of 5 we would.

  Went for the first time with another couple who had been before. We ordered a starter and main. The starter- sharing platter was lovely but they brought our mains and we hadn't even finished our starter so I felt rushed. Our friends had fish which they thought was over cooked. I had chicken with pesto sauce which was lovely. At no point did anyone check back to ask if everything was alright. Common practice. Not sure I would go again.

  BOOKED FOR A FRIDAY NIGHT , WAS THE WORST MEAL I HAVE EVER HAD , WENT HOME HUNGRY SO WE GOT A TAKE AWAY , MEAL SIZE IS FAR TO SMALL , WAITER WAS RUDE , WILL NEVER RETURN AGAIN , PLUS THE TOILET WAS BROKEN SO YOU HAD TO USE THE MENS NOT GOOD ENOUGH .

  If you like Steak get yourself there. Great Food, Good staff, music would help create better atmosphere in the restaurant.

  Right from the get go it was such an experience! From being shown to our table to leaving, the staff were really polite and experienced. The food was to die for! The duck was exquisite followed by the house red wine (which went down so smoothly), fully recommend Al porto, 10/10 for romantic meals for that spark!

  I went here for the first time today and was actually extremely surprised. I'd never even noticed this restaurant before but it was absolutely beautiful, and right near the Hull Marina, which is a great sight to see. We did the lunch special and I highly recommend it. For £8 I got a glass of red wine (you can also have beer, or soft drink), and a creamy pasta smoked salmon dish. The menu was very good to say it was just for lunch, and my friend got the Italian meatball pasta. It was basically a main dinner meal and I couldn't believe the value for money. The service was great and the atmosphere was relaxing. There is parking nearby and I will definitely be back. I have yet to go in the evening but I don't think it will be long before I do. The best lunch deal in the whole of Hull.
