Accento Cafe

The word Accento has, for us, two meanings. The first meaning is Accent. Like Scots, as Sardinians, we have a unique one!
The second meaning of "a cento " is to wish a person 100 years of long life. Factors like the climate, lifestyle, and most importantly the food mean that for Sardinians, living to 100 is common place.

So, our aim is to bring authentic Italian and Sardinian food to Glasgow. Fresh products, traditional family recipes with an updated modern twist and our friendly enthusiasm are some of the ingredients that you will find at Accento Cafe.

    There is only one PANINO that can make your weekend start in the proper way: our BIG FRANCO ❤ Chicken milanese ( we cut and fry it every day fresh using our breadcrumbs), lettuce, tomatoes and mayo. You see imitations in town, but nothing can beat him. 💪💪💪

    First of April is famous for his jokes and the last post was one of them. We reassure everyone we still have our Big Franco collection on. This April fool was to make everyone sensible about how Brexit has been a damage for small businesses. The fact we kept fighting against the consequences Brexit already had, like increase of prices in everything and lack of some niche products, does not mean we are not scared. We are scared of not being able to do what we love and what you love and this has been our worst nightmares since Brexit arrived in our lives. Even the little things are in danger with this crazy act, so now it is more important than ever to support all the small business you love ❤

    This sweet is something you can find only in Sardinia or at @accentocafe if you are in Glasgow ❤ We are really happy to make these traditional Amaretti biscuits, they make us feel in Sardinia 👩🏻‍🍳🏠 . . . Today we are closing at 3 p.m. and our kitchen is closing at 2.30. Sorry for any inconvenience, but our baby is having her first show at the nursery and we cannot miss it ❤
