Hors saison : accueil déplorable, sanitaire laissé a l'abandon... on se demande bien comment se camping a gardé ces 3 étoiles..

My family and I spent two weeks camping in August ; The camp is very simple, but you can have all you need . There is a lot of shade , the toilets are old , but we have always found it clean ( thanks to the people that use it) The building needs maintenance, it was very quiet and economical . Near the camp there are a market a bakery and a greengrocer . The price is in line with the quality of the goods

It advertises itself as 3 stars, I take one from that. Reasons:
    - water block is low quality, no toilette paper for example, water only comes in the shower as long as you hold the button
    - no playground for kids, dozens of them play in the toilet section instead
    - Wifi signal is very weak, only in the center of the area. Stupid log in system, with mandatory ads and very slow
    - smokers are not separated, several families are forced to smell one chain smoker french guy. A good solution would be I think to quarantine the smokers to the area next to the garbage dumps, they seem to like stinky things anyway. Or ban nicotine addicts, drunks and other stuff addicts all together
    - beware: they don't accept credit card
    The good:
    - low price
    - beach is near
    - grocery shop next door

What was supposed to be a nice camping turned out to be everything but that. We arrived by car late in the evening. The woman at the counter told us "to pick any place you find." We did as we were told. Later on a man camping near us was not pleased to find us there. We, having two tents, had to leave, according to him. He went right away to get the owner of the camping. After a small talk we agreed to move our stuff somewhere else. The owner would find a good place for us. Well, it was crap to say the least. He wanted us to put our tent on walking path. Because there was no other place to put our tents, we had to agree. It was already over 01:00 am and looking for another camping and packing in and out again after a long travel is not what we wanted. So eventually the owner said in the morning he would find us a better place. The man was nowhere to find the next morning. So we decided to leave. Going back to the reception to collect the identity card, the woman there wanted us to pay. I explained the situation and asked for some compensation. Even then she asked an exorbitant amount. But okay, we even were willing to pay that. Reminding her was again about the bad service, she then threw the money on the ground. Criticism is not there strongest point. We then took the money and left. I have seen quite some campings and this one is most definitely the worst I have come across. Also the sanitation is not proper. And the pictures they show you here on Google is not as it is. The beach nearby is not so lovely. I would advise you to find another one. We went back to Ajaccio and found a much better and friendlier camping.
