Truk Stop Hotel and Restaurant is one of the best hotel in the island. It serves great food and pizzas. They have a bar that you can relax and enjoy some good conversation with your friends. They also have a very accommodating staffs. What I love most is the dock where you can sit and watch the sun sets on the horizon.

Stayed at the Truk Stop for close to a year, the family who runs it are great and nice and hospitable. I remember when I first got to the island I went to a many hotels and found this to be in the top three. The hard wreck café has a pool table and was frequented by high level locals, expats, wreck divers and some others, good mix of people. Room amenities included that many local places don't have are fridge, 24 hours of power, warm shower, wifi, sanitary, sink. You may have to leave your room to be close enough to the wifi for it to work. All the staff speak english. About 1 mile from the airport. I was there in 2008.

These place is great, best hotel and location on the island. Close to everything. They have a restraunt, bar, dive shop, gift shop and bakery on premises plus full security. Its right on the water, no beach but lovely outside patio for sitting & wifi. Food is okaytalk to locals about places to eat. Staff is friendly and helpful.
