Fantastic diving and well run dive operation with swift boats departing to dive sites daily and experienced dive support personnel. We were a party of very experienced divers and did not feel that were were restricted in terms of the type of diving we could do tackling a mix of deeper and shallower dives during our stay. I cannot see any point in paying extra for a live aboard when shore accommodation this close to all the major dives sites is available. I have stayed here twice in the past three years. Accommodation is comfortable and air conditioning works! Inside apartments could do with a little updating but everything is functioning and cleaned daily. Food in the restaurant is good but basic. There is a lovely bar area looking out over the lagoon. Staff and friendly and very helpful. There is a supermarket on site for basic necessities.

Very Poor Facilities that have been dilapidated since 1973. Nothing has been renovated.the menu has not been changed. Unfortunate this has been left to ruin.

One of the best spots to have breakfast, lunch & dinner while enjoying the view of Chuuk Lagoon.

This place is wonderful, especially considering it's in the middle of the Pacific Ocean on a tiny island. I stayed here for 2 nights on either side of my Odyssey trip and the rooms, food, service, and bar were all great. I did 3 scuba dives with them, and they were obviously incredible.

Old run down and the rooms are dirty, some deep cleaning would go a long way. Food was not bad and reasonably priced.

The most amazing place in the world. The staff was very nice and accommodating. The resort was beautiful. The food was fantastic. Oh yea, and the diving words can't describe.

Blue Lagoon is the best landside diving resort in Chuuk. Highly recommend.

You come here for the diving and this place certainly caters to that. You are South of town out on a spit of land, surround by the remains of the Japanese base that was situated here in the 40's, the view stretches off to lush islands in the middle distance and to fluffy clouds and clear blue sky beyond.this is an amazing place. This resort was founded by the man that originally worked with Cousteau to find all the wrecks in the lagoon and is now run by his grand-son who knows quite a bit about the atoll and wrecks in his own right. The resort is clean and tidy, the food in the restaurant is good and plentiful, the beer in the bar is cold and cheap, rooms I can only give a three as the furnishings are older and a little worn, the water pressure is low, and the temperature of the shower can be kind of cold, but the friends you will make and the adventures you will have more than make up for it. I will return!

Really your only option for dive gear etc on this side of island without going back into town. Nice folks.

This is a great resort for people who like to spend their money on scuba diving not luxury. Everything for the diver is catered for and the food is good.

Beautiful place away from town facing west enchanting sunsets bouncing of glassy water almost all year long. Very affordable, food is great and the dive experience is indescribable. Honestly indescribable. You would have to see for yourself!
