Sitting in Pohnpei with a great view and good food but unable to get any activities booked. I am from Kwaj and I have been here before, but for my wife from Russia it is a long trip and a bad experience. Embarrassing hold up at passport control from the first minute. Hotel has been uncharacteristically unhelpful. I hate to say it but it is very different being in Pohnpei with local people and being in Pohnpei with Europeans. I apologized to my wife for bringing her here. It has not been a good trip.
I absolutely do not recommend Pohnpei to Russians. I know many Russians go to Guam and you are adventurers but Pohnpei is shut down for Russians.
