Despite advertising it on their website, there is NO free SIM card. You have to buy one of their packages, which start at 35$. Scam.

Total rip off. They refuse to give you the free sim, and tell that they have only plans starting from 35 FJD. They also ask 5 dollars for the trasport card that is supposed to be free. Avoid!

I recommend getting your sim card from one of the Vodafone shops in Nadi town. I paid 15 Fijian Dollar for a 14 days data package with 60GB. It’s without national or international calls but most taxis use what’s app to communicate.

It's true, they are actually lying to you when purchasing e-transport card. They tell you that it can be returned for a refund, which is absolutely not true. So think hard about how much you really need or top up along the way. If you run out, you can always pay with cash on a bus. Thanks to other contributors, I was able to avoid excessive loss.

Purchased a bus card from 2 very nice women. I told them we'd be in Fiji for about a week. We were concerned that we wouldn't use the whole balance but were assured we could get a refund on the remaining balance.

So now, it's time to go home, and I'm being told that permanent cards cannot be refunded. ANYWHERE. Customer service is saying that a permanent card is the ONLY option, and it can NOT be refunded.

The website Q&A section suggests that tourists get a temporary card on the bus that can be refunded in cash. We were told no such thing when we purchased ours.

So we are stuck with a permanent card that we paid $5 for, and a balance of about $75 that we won't ever be able to use.

If visiting Fiji, don't bother with the bus. Just arrange for other transportation, or rent a car.

So much for the "free sim with 1 GB of data" they advertise all around the airport and even on the plane tickets. In fact you won't get it unless you buy something from them first.

Remember to grab the Free SIM brochure at the immigration counters, and claim your free SIM here. Insist on a Recharge amount and purchase the data pack. I got mine for $15FJD for 1.5 GBs of data, instead of paying $35FJD.

Got a sim card for 70 FJD. 4.5 GB which was perfect for the short getaway. Staff were friendly and installed the sim card and APN settings for me. Walked out the shop with fiji 4G access.
