We booked a half day tour to south sea island. The main reason because we had kids and did not think they would last a day. Get yourself some reef shoes, you will need them. The pick up was well organized and the ride over to the island was great. We did the lunch option with buffet was supplied. Not bad. That's where it ended.
Ate, got ourselves to the beach shortly after. All the equipment was being used. Most people hanging onto their free equipment and therefore unable to do much. Inconsiderate people dumping kayaks on the beach with no regard to safety, short on life jackets and snorkel gear. All heavily used.
The kids were upset since we were unable to get any equipment.
Island was a mess and could not wait to get off. I don't recommend this cruise for a family as its not worth the trip.

We took the Sea Spray day adventure. Even though you do get to visit 2 islands the time on each island is very limited (only 30 minutes on the first one!? Barely time to get off the boat!) . We found this to be short considering the travel time to get to the islands. As a consequence the activities, and even the lunch, were very rushed. What happened to Fiji time?
We went on another cruise a couple of days before with Captain Cook Cruises, which was far superior and which might have set our standards a bit high. Still if you are looking for a cruise in Fiji, go with Captain Cook.response / report this review -

Horrible service, wrong informations on website!
The cruise itself was good and organisation also but the service of this company is really, really poor. We wanted to book on the website. This was not possible because of a technical problem. They wanted a bugfix report which I sent them but they didn’t fix it.
On their website they offer (don’t know if they still do it) a free pick up. Only a lie. They just wrote sorry we don’t offer a pick up. Would be great if they delete this info from their webpage.response / report this review -

Very professional and good service. Nice clean boat - including toilet! Bar on board too. They are on the expensive side though..

One of the best things my family did in Fiji. I can't do it justice as to how amazing it was, there's probably heaps of sites already raving about it and going into great depth. But the main take away for me was that it was the most pure relaxing experience I've ever had. This is a must when going to Fiji.

It is the best place to book your adventures in Fiji. South Sea are very professional and punctual. Special recommendations for the sea spray trip and Mana Island.

Eskys are full of beers, wine, bubles and soft drinks - you can drink as much as you want. For lunch you get grilled fish, bred rolls and various of salads (Fruits are also available) In the mean time the crew will entertain you by playing guitar and singing a songs. But the most important thing are spectacular islands with white sand, clear blue water and palm trees around

They offer various tours around the islands that would fit to many tastes. Even a daily tour can show you the beauty of several islands, many of them having distinctive look and atmosphere.

My family and I were in Fiji for two weeks during which we took a full day cruise with South Sea on the Seaspray. Were were taken around many islands including Monuriki which is where the movie Castaway was filmed. Fresh fish was grilled on deck for lunch and snorkeling of the islands was included. I would strongly recommend.
