Uninspiring and run down rooms. The food we had was good. Staff was helpful and friendly.
There sure is a best way start or end your stay in Fiji.

Would not definitely not recommend this hotel. The location is horrible as it is far away from shops or any restaurants and not safe (as been told by locals) to walk. Everytime you go out or come back to the hotel you pass a crematorium which is about a 2 min drive away. The only way to access the beach is through club Fiji nearby or either an entry near the crematorium. The breakfast is alright as there is a substantial amount of food provided. The website advertises free WiFi however youre only allocated 150mb a day (definitely not enough for kids, greatly dissapointed). There are a lot of movie s provided on the tv however most of them either lag or completely stop half way through which is super annoying when sitting down with the fam. The staff were very friendly however they were most of the time very unhelpful with essentials such as toilet paper and the maids cleaning our room (which were not clean even after we left for the day and asked it to be clean). This was also majority disappointing as it was not a busy time of the year and thus not hard to provide such services (especially if we are paying for it!). Even when we requested things like toilet paper my children had to go to the counter multiple times to remind them. The fridge was also not working and when we told reception it was completely ignored, no apology or compensation what so ever. My husband and I had some medication that needed to be refrigerated.. .. I've had better service at hostels and other resorts which have been much cheaper or as a vistor to family friends when they stayed at a resort. Another issue is that the hot tub looks to be never cleaned as there is algae or moss at the bottom (I am presumming, not sure if this is common in wood hottubs). On that note the pool does not look to be cleaned as there was bird poo in the pool the 3 days I was there (presumably the same throughout). Overall I do not recommend this hotel as their service is quite poor. It spoilt the family holiday :(

This is a really friendly place to stay where the staff make you feel very special. It is clean and tidy. The food is excellent. The bar is a little expensive compared to nearby establishments.

No power generator when no electricity . Rooms are noisy, from next noise. Not insulated. Bathrooms are tired need fixing and updates. Staff are great. Always smiling and ready to answer. Internet is poor. Always dropping out over the day. Having said that, you cannot fault the pool or area its in.

Really wonderful room service and honest staff. I really appreciate the things that the staff do for us, including doing our laundry at night, managing our taxis and also managing our change for our taxi. We also got an upgrade to a larger room even though we requested for an extra bed, which is very thoughtful.

The only cons I have would probably be the location as it is quite far from everything else, which means there are not many dining options unless you head out in a taxi. However, I think good customer service still comes first and I would highly rate this hotel on this. :)

Clea, tidy, great pool, reataurant and bar. Great place to stop for a couple of days. Very friendly and helpful staff. Easy, cheap taxi ride to Nadi town and Denerau and free airport shuttle

Oasis at the end of the road. I read about this place and that made my reserve a few nights, perfect! Friendly, Helpful, Nice! Great staff, clean place, nice restaurant and bar. Rooms are bright and clean and so is the pool. Yes there is no beach but it is the perfect place to stay in Nadi and explore from.

Hotel is OK for one night, rooms are clean and your have access to the beach at the Club Fiji hotel.

Nevertheless we had some bad experience there (start into our holidays):
• Pickup at the airport did not work (even I've sent an e-mail to confirm it) we had to wait about an hour.
• At the hotel: our safe was locked when we arrived:
- asked about 10 times at the reception for help!
- we waited over 5 hours for the manager (obviously the only person able) to unlock our safe!
- no sorry or something from the manager when he finally arrived.
• Prices in the restaurant menu are different from what they charge you (when I asked them about it they simply said prices changed - no correction in the menu made)
• Because it is in the middle of a swamp there are awful lots of mosquitos during dusk.
• Staff/service at breakfast is hope-/useless:
- no cutlery on the table
- no cutlery nowhere available!
- everytime you need something and call the waitress she seems to be pissed off because she has to work something
- never ever seen such an unfriendly and not helpful staff like this in my life (and there were only 6 guests)!

Conclusion: Probably they just don't care how people start their holiday, at least that's how we felt. Sad, but true

Terrible cancellation policy and no goodwill gesture to want me to ever use them again!

In light of the cyclone Winston that just went through and that Fiji itself declared a state of emergency and the NZ government travel advisory says for us not to travel, the hotel is greedy in not refunding guests of their booking for circumstances beyond their control. They would not have been able to accommodate guests to the standard expected either.

I understand that our travel insurance covers this but all the other hotels we booked for our round-the-island trip had the goodwill and decency to refund our booking fees in full (100%)
