Loved the house reef. Stayed in a treehouse and had all we needed. Food was nourishing and the staff super friendly. The dives are divine, especially magic wall and caves of Babylon. Highly recommended! Sand could have been smoother lel.

Amazing resort. Need to upgrade to get a private bathroom bit depends on your requirements. This has the most amazing reef on the doorstep. You can do your padi for 600 Fiji. But just a single baby dive or even snorkeling was incredible. I'd plan to stay here longer than you think. The food is really good and the guys in the restaurant will look after you and make you feel at home. Check the seasons if you want a manta Ray dive. 2 bars. 1 restaurant. Dorm accommodation and upwards. Loads of beachfront hammocks and loungers. Great experience.

The staff made this prace, great entertainment and games, and this is coming from somebody who just wanted sit back and relax. The hike is a must and ask about the coconut experience, it was very interesting. Thanks guys. Snorkelling was out of this world, much better than the other islands and the great barrier reef.

Mantaray is one of the absolute best placea to stay in Fiji. The resort is beautiful and the staff are warm and caring. We had a wonderful stay and enjoyed some of our best snorkling at their reef.

Great resort, great staff. Food was nice as well. Diving is awesome and the snorkelling was excellent, just stroll into a reef from the beach that is packed with life.

They have allways something to do (fijiand hand craft, sport, ). The staff is realy gentle. The food is verry good, the breakfast too. I suggest to take with you your own alcool and snacks.

The resort is very tidy and attractively set out with planting etc, and the staff were amazing. The food was good, though there was nothing available for morning and afternoon teas., and no tea or coffee offered at lunch time. There were no supplies in the frig/mini bar, no bedside light, no box of tissues, no information in our villa about the facilities and activities available. We would have appreciated knowing beforehand that there really are no walking tracks, the only walk available being limited and only for the able-bodied. This resort is not for folk who love to walk, and enjoy a quiet rest. Because our villa was the closest to the lounge, most nights of our stay were marred with rowdy music that went to midnight, and over- tanked guests who kept up the noise level into the wee hours. This was the hardest thing for us to cope with, and we can see that Mantaray is a haven for young folk who care to do little in the day other than sunbathe, then shout and laugh raucously until 2 or 3 in the morning, having no consideration for other guests who want to sleep. The walk up to the restaurant is suited for the fit and able-bodied only, having to negotiate a lot of steep steps.

You can just sit and relax, or if you want action, there's hiking around the island, snorkeling, stand up paddling, kayaking, swimming - you name it. You can also take a tour to a small village near the resort. The meals are good and you have plenty of choice. Very nice Fijian staff, I highly recommend the place.

Mantaray was an incredible place to stay for 3 nights. The food was the best I experienced across the 6 resorts I visited, and the bar area by the beach was impossible to leave. Amazing snorkelling on the reef right outside, very pleasant accomodation and staff who looked like they were having a lot of fun. Highly recommend staying here!

Stayed a week after a week in Kauai for my fiftyth birthday. Did some diving and snorkeling and lounging.
This is absolute paradise with all the staff making you feel so welcome. They treat you like family.
Caught a 60lb fish out with one of their guides after a morning swimming with the giant manta rays, an afternoon of diving coral reefs that looked as if Walt Disney puked colours everywhere there.
Get the 10 dive package and make sure you get a one at night.

Fantastic snorkeling location. Beautiful reefs right off the beach. Accommodation was nice and the staff were good too. Only real negative is a $95 mandatory food charge which should just be included in the room price. Also I wouldnt call it a resort as it's more like casual accommodation.
