HISTORY
Initiated in 2008 for the greater University of the South Pacific Community as a Creative Arts Youth group, MASTI is now a Suva based team of talented and versatile youths from different racial and social backgrounds, who all have one thing in common – the passion and vibe for the finer expressive, creative and performing arts and we are here to showcase these talents and win the hearts of all, being an inspiration and motivation to many as we share the MASTI spirit of fun, laughter and celebration, cherishing life itself. MASTI (which means ‘fun’ in Hindi) is all about having fun and being youthful and at the same time portraying and promoting the cultures that unite Fiji. With the motto, “Molding Talents, Empowering Youths”, the MASTI Arts & Dance Group strives to give a platform for all those who want to develop their potentials and excel in the entertainment arena in Fiji, together with Youth Advocacy & Empowerment and Social Work.

VISSION / MISSION / AIM
To empower youths with skills of the finer arts as a means of leisure, healthy living, promoting peace, friendship, cultural heritage and pacific identity, and a substitute life skill for earning a livelihood. To see youths being more culturally aware and senstive and having the now diminishing pride and prestige into their unique cultural heritages that unite Fiji.

Over the past 4 years, we have grown in magnitude, status and diversity and have received tremendous recognition and highly commendable positive critique. We have been appreciated for our initiatives as youths, an initiative for the youths of Fiji. With more than 100 talented individuals to have come and gone through MASTI and having done more than 300 shows/events as of August 2013 and still counting, MASTI now incorporates:
