Work in progress from last year's cyclone damage. Work team very friendly and busy working around gardens. Long period of drought since the cyclone has set back the usual lushness here.

I went for a beer and music festival that was held there, it was a nice small beautiful place, currently they are still inthe process of refurbishing some areas of the garden

This large garden was a very pleasant visit. I was on a cruise ship, and walked here. It has, of course, a wide variety of plants all labeled. But it also has large expanses of grass which are very nice.
I happened to say hello to one of the gardeners, and we got to talking. He ended up giving me a personal tour of the area around the greenhouse including a small pond, and inside the greenhouse.
It doesn't compare well to the high-end gardens with hundreds of paid staff, of course. But it is well done, beautiful, relaxing, and friendly.
And if you have children, there is a nice playground just across the street.response / report this review -
