I love grabbing coffees but especially going in for Saturday brunch! The atmosphere at the restaurant is very calming and the staff have an amazing customer service.

The food is good and the service is excellent, with very attentive and friendly staff. The real draw here is the decor - the walls are covered with vintage posters (of movies filmed in Fiji, dating back to the 1930s), old photographs and maps. Even the place mats on the table are reproductions of old Fiji newspapers. Highly recommend taking some time to go through the 'museum' portion of the restaurant.

A very good theme based restaurant in Suva. Amazing ambiance. The owners seems to have great taste. You will find some original photos of Hollywood, some amazing postage stamps, great piece of artwork and some rare South Pacific islands photos. Spend some time to go through the museum. It is worth it. Food quality is good and service is very good. Pricing is slightly on a higher side but it's worth it.

I had lunch at Governors for the first time yesterday. I had my parent's with me (who are in their eighties) as well as my wife and son (turning two). So we were not the usual business crowd that I noticed seated at other tables. Nevertheless, I found that atmosphere, amenities and staff very FAMILY-FRIENDLY. We were served promptly. Our meals came quickly (except for mine BUT it was well worth the wait because the tuna dish I had was heavenly). There was a high chair for my little boy. Most of all, we were not made to feel like an inconvenience even though our son was all over the place and created a royal mess while eating in his high chair. The deserts at the end hit the spot - I so recommend the Chocolate Lava Cake.

I love the brunch, I've tried four different courses and highly recommend, especially around Suva. The veg frittata is really good and the seasonal veggies always change! Bread always seems to be a little stale which is why 4/5.

Popular and well loved established place. Nothing to add that others haven't already said. Don't believe anything less than 4 or 5 stars. Must be personal.

We have been here a couple times before but most recently during Christmas Eve. My wife and I along with her sister and brother in-law had a wonderful time. The food was delicious, service friendly and atmosphere very soothing. I highly recommend this place to anyone visiting Suva or looking for a cozy spot to dine or entertain.

A plain exterior hides a real gem of a place with connections to Ratu Sukuna, a distinguished Fijian. Old photos and memorabilia add a real atmosphere to an excellent menu. Dinner is not available every evening so we were not able to judge this, but coffee, cake, lunch and breakfast were all first class

This beautifully decorated restaurant creates an atmosphere fit for anyone looking for a glimpse into Pacific history over some of the best meals, desserts, and definitely the best coffee in Suva! The food is on par with many fine dining restaurants I have been to, though it isn't particularly fine dining, making it a perfect place for any occasion. Apart from walking into a world of history solely based on the Pacific, there is a new establishment in the same heritage mall being transformed into East, a soon to be cocktail bar, and walking into here feels like walking into an old style restaurant in Saigon. Absolutely number one in Fiji for me!

Governor's offers consistently high quality international, local and Asian fusion food in very generous portions. Open for breakfast, lunch and dinner most days, they serve a great selection of 'the usuals' for breakfast, a great and healthy lunch selection and for dinner, they serve probably the best steak in Suva and some fantastic Fijian food.

Museum themed is a bit of a bad pitch as it. It has a great ambience with a lot of attention to decor showcasing photos and posters detailing some of the rich history of Fiji and its neighboring islands.

Be sure to come on a Thursday or Friday night for live solo guitar/vocals or a band.

It also has a decent wine selection which is recommended as corkage is expensive.

This restaurant may not show up on your 'best Suva eatery' but we let us tell you we discovered it by accident AND! From a family of foodies it was exceptional. Truly amazing .
